Togetherness

This is a spell designed for lovers, first and foremost. I’ve not yet test driven this spell, as it requires a partner. This spell is designed with a sexually active couple in mind, so if you’re not comfortable having sex with your partner, this might not be the spell for you. But feel free to adapt it, please reblog this post with your adaptation, I would love to see it. Also, excuse my formatting, I’m on mobile and at work.

You Will Need: Candles (whatever you have) Crystal or other energy synch of your choice A partner

Part one; Preparation: *Start with a clean space. A nicely made bed in a comfortably clean (read: not necessarily spotless, but free of clutter or any level of mess that would make you uncomfortable) room works well. *You want the lighting to be dim, but you still want to be able to see each other. Personally, I will have my overhead light off but will be leaving my 5 windows with the blinds drawn but not blacked out. *Light your candles and place them anywhere that is safe and comfortable. *Lay out your crystals or other energy synch nearby, where you will be able to feel their presence. *Lay out your sigil; this can be written on one or both of your bodies, or on paper nearby (don’t use paper you need later, you’ll be burning the sigil afterwards) (if writing on bodies, draw somewhere that will be subject to sweat or friction. Ideally the sigil will rub off during the spell)

Part Two; Charging (a.k.a. the Sex part) *This can be done in any position. For my purposes, we will be doing a variation of “cowgirl” (yuck, I hate the name of that, its very cis-normative. If anyone knows a better name, let me know). In this case, this means the penetrating partner is sitting up on the bed with their back to the wall, leaning on it for support, and legs crossed like when you were in school. The partner being penetrated will straddle the bottom partner, and allow the phallus into whatever orifice feels appropriate. *Hold hands, if comfortable and able *Make gratuitous eye contact, if comfortable and able *This is not meant to be very vigorous sex, at least at first. Focus on your partner, the penetration, and stillness to get started. *Synch your breathing, if possible *Once situated and comfortable, get in touch with the energy flowing between you and your partner. Feel the energy flow between you, and direct it outwards. Allow it to radiate into the crystals you’ve placed nearby. You might visualize water bending if energy transference or meditation aren’t your strong suits. *The focus and intent at this point should be “togetherness”. Not just the word, but the entire concept of togetherness, whatever that means for the two of you. Keep the sigil and the intent clear in your mind through this process *Again, this is not vigorous sex. Slow, calm movements. Ideally all movement should occur using strictly the kegal muscles, but of course move as much as is necessary to retain the erection of the penetrating partner (if said partner is penetrating with a natal penis). You should be enjoying each other, calmly and serenely. Think “making love” more than “fucking” *Kissing is of course more than acceptable, and is in fact encouraged

Part Three: Casting *This can be done at any point after charging has begun *Ideally you want to feel energy at equilibrium, as though your energy synch is full but not overflowing, and you and your partner are completely at peace with one another *When ready, its time to work towards that orgasm. Ideally you want simultaneous orgasms, but if this is not accessible for absolutely any reason, of course feel free to climax whenever it feels right. Do make sure each partner climaxes if at all possible *This is the point where you can get fast, loud, vigorous, whatever you need in order to finish. I know how Jack and I will be doing so, but each couple is of course unique. *Once each partner has climaxed, turn your attention to the sigils. If written on your body, the orgasms were enough to cast and you can was those off however you see fit. If written on paper, the orgasm has done most of the work but being a step removed you are going to want to burn the paper (or destroy in another way if burning is unsafe/unaccessible in your environment). I suggest lighting it with the candles you’ve had burning throughout the act

Part Four: Aftermath *Blow out your candles *Dispose of any condoms used *Each partner may and is encouraged to go through their regular post-sex cleaning routine *Each partner should take a crystal (if more than one was used) to carry through their daily life. These crystals now contain the raw energy of the two of your close, together, in tune. This not only will promote a healthy, long lasting relationship, but should also help with mental health and loneliness. *Repeat as necessary, depending on how much energy your crystals hold and how quickly you burn through them. When in doubt, once a week.

Blueberry Mint Communication Syrup

Goal: To allow two or more people to communicate freely, openly and safely.

What you'll need:

Everything listed in my syrup making post

Blueberries (associated with protection)

Fresh Mint (associated with communication)

How it's done:

Follow the syrup making method detailed here using blueberries as your fruit of choice.

Add 1 sprig of fresh, chopped, mint for every cup of blueberries.

As the mixture is simmering stand in front of it and bring yourself to a calm state of mind. Breath deeply and envision the lines of communication flowing freely and safely between whoever eats the syrup. On each exhale say things like "communication" and "peace" while pushing the calming energy into the mixture.

Serve up the syrup when you feel there there is a situation that could use a little more communication.

Avacado Pit lovers spell

I've been eating a lot of avocados recently and have been looking for something to do with all of the pits. So, I started researching the history of the avocado, popular symbolism and the meaning of the word. Turns out there is a lot of connection between avocados and love/fertility. Apparently, there is even an older word for the tree that roughly translates into testicles. So I figured that avocado pits would be great for a spell  to help lovers strengthen their connections. I'll also be including a variation for fertility. Anyways, here's the spell.

What you'll need:

Two avocado pits

Red ribbion

For fertility variation: very small bell

How it's done:

Carefully clean the pits and remove the outer layer.

Put the pits together in your hand and begin to wrap with the ribbon, being careful to leave about four inches of the tail free.

As you wrap the ribbon around the pits envision you and your lover growing closer, your bonds strengthening, your relationship growing.

As you wrap, whisper sweet things to the pits. Tell them about how they represent you and your lover and how they are going to be close and blissful. Tell them about things you would like to see happen in the relationship and how wonderful things are going to be.

Fertility variation: Once the avocado pits are almost completely wrapped (save for a open space near the bottom) place the bell in the space between the bottom of the pits. Imagine this as the child growing happily between the two. Whisper things about an on time conception and a healthy pregnancy leading to a healthy child.

Once you have wrapped up the pits completely, use the loose tail to tie the ribbon up in a bow. Store in a safe place for a few days so the spell sort of permeates the space. Then take the bundle and bury it someplace you consider to be romantic.

Then you're done, simple as that. Now this spell is intended to be done with the consent of both parties and that's what I would strongly recommend. However I do realize that once this spell is put out there I don't have control over what's done with it. I would hope, though, that anyone who chooses to cast this does so in accordance to their own morals and that's where I'll leave that.
