Hi! First of all, I love your blog. I've been getting back into witchcraft lately--I haven't actively participated since high school, but I've been feeling the call to return--and I really enjoy keeping up with your blog. Anyway, I have a question regarding garden magic. Specifically, a few of my indoor plants recently died (*sob*), and I want to plant new plants into their old pots. Do you have any suggestions for cleansing the pots of any death/negative energy that might be lingering? Thanks!

I hear ya! I feel that way too! like, the empty pot filled with sad dirt is just a reminder your failure. At least that's how I feel. I've considered slowly heating and slowly cooling the terracotta pots in the oven (so they don't shatter due to temp differences) to kill any bacteria that could have contributed to the plant demise. Probably just some sunlight an new soil would work as well. Also a general cleaning might be a way to go to clear the room as well.
