[ There's a letter awaiting him , a heart sticker on the back , scented with carnation perfume . in scripted writing , it says " to : dabi " , but not much else . should it be opened , it would simply note that with the time these two have spent together since their first meeting , it has become more desirable than intended . ( 1/2 )
( 2/2 ) it also states for nobody else to see this letter , as these growing feelings are not for anybody but him and to please not judge them for it . it ends with “happy valentines’ day” and signed in kanji , decoded to be “aino minako” . ] I DID A THING BC I AM SCREAMING ABOUT THEM OKAY?!
❝Hm?❞ This is odd. His fans usually send him their fanmail through Jamil considering the fact that they find it hard to approach him. So when he sees a letter waiting for him that’s just exuding the touch of feminity, Dabi isn’t sure what to feel. He takes the letter anyway, wrinkling his nose for a second at the flowery perfume it has apparently been sprayed with. Not exactly the kind of scent he normally picks up on from his fans but he decides to overlook that part.
He tears the side flap of the envelope open and pulls out the letter. His brows bump together in a frown as he reads the words written so neatly on the paper. For a brief moment, not a single name pops up in his mind but the further he buries himself into the contents of the message, the more he realizes who exactly this is from.
His gaze eventually drifts down to the bottom and just as he expected, he finds Minako’s name written in kanji. Dabi fails to suppress the amused grin that tugs the corners of his lips as he shakes his head in disbelief. He couldn’t quite figure out why he even hangs around with someone this… touchy. Or perhaps cheesy is a better word for it.
Who the hell still sends letters these days? Just when he thought she couldn’t give any clearer indicator that she’s a complete virgin, she goes and does something like this. A definite Disney Princess at heart.
‘Growing feelings’ though… Dabi lingers on that line, wondering if she means what he thinks she means. He stares at it for a minute longer. Then he folds the letter and slides it into the pocket of his hoodie.
At least he now has more kindling to burn later.
