They were surprisingly bigger than the koi fish he's seen back in the states. They also seemed much more serene. Although that may be perhaps due to the clear water and the beautiful landscape around them. The son of Hecate had never been jealous of a fish before, but he supposed it was great for the fish. "You know they say gold fish are a kid's first pet, but that's never been true for me. I was more of a bird kind of kid."
"Ironically, hate bird sports teams." Dario chuckled nervously, giving the demigod beside him a playful nudge. The son of Hecate sat on top of a blanket, a basket filled with simple snacks and sandwiches for the two of them. "Did you want a snack?" He asks, taking out a bag of green peas and placing it in between them. "I don't remember if we're allowed to feed the fish, but I heard they love peas."
