***** NEW Artwork by talented artist NAOMI KERR ****** The backstory inspired by this artwork..... Think of Clydebank and you picture the huge illuminated clock tower that lit up the night's sky (and which was visible at a distance of up to six miles) of the iconic Singer Sewing Machine Factory. Dominated by the world's largest four faced clock that stood 226ft high with a 26ft-wide clock face (5 feet larger than Big Ben) it became symbolic of the global importance of a factory that would weave itself into the very fabric of life in Clydebank , Glasgow. Everybody in Clydebank knew someone who worked at the factory. Following the recent discovery of Jimmy the Night Porter, another body has been discovered , believed to be ‘ Davey the Factory Fitter/ Carpenter’ . The dissembled skull depicts Davey’s fate, he was the new apprentice carpenter for the shop floor at the Singer Factory . Davey has had a past life thwart with mystery - His battle scars only to evident. No one has dared ask the question why his teeth now illuminate at night , perhaps something to do with the illuminated Singer clock face and whether his jawline fracture was in fact repaired with sewing thread from the Singer Factory but there is no denying the Davey’s head has been mounted on his own scribe base . https://www.barnowlbothy.com/Store/#!/‘Davey’-the-Singer-Sewing-Machine-Factory-Shopfitter/p/267236314 #steampunk #lovesteampunk #lovesteampunkstyle #steampunkskull #steampunkskulls #loveskulls💀 #loveskullstuff #singersewingmachine #singersewingmachinecompany #clydebank #loveclydebank https://www.instagram.com/p/CIkfilcgMSy/?igshid=94813t61feg6
