I used to be always hungry for love. Just once, I wanted to know what it was like to get my fill of it, to be fed so much love I couldn't take anymore. Just once.

I used to be always hungry for love. Just once, I wanted to know what it was like to get my fill of it, to be fed so much love I couldn't take anymore. Just once.
I met you and the sunset began to look more beautiful than it was yesterday.
If you ever have the opportunity to tell someone how you feel, or how much they mean to you, or even to tell them how much you care about them, please do so. Dear god please do so. Because at any given moment they could be gone. & I promise you that you'll regret those unsaid words.
I think your dark is really beautiful, in case you didn't think anyone could see you there. I see you there.
I think your light is really beautiful, in case you thought you went unnoticed. I noticed.
The dark doesn't hide the pain, and the light doesn't make your smile true.
And anyway, on whatever day, whether you are covered in your own light or submerged in the shadows of your own dark, it doesn't change the color of your heart. What I'm trying to say is whether you are smiling or not, I see you. I always will.
And just like the moon, I will silently love you from a far.
We fall in love with the little things somebody loves about the world like the sunset, the night,
or any food with fried egg-
and it doesn't matter what they are,
it's just that they love them and that makes us happy.
I want a soft kind of love. A best friends kind of love. A "good morning baby, I'II make coffee and meet you in the shower" kind of love. I want lazy Sundays spent in bed and groggy Mondays getting ready for work side by side. I want the kind of love that makes you question if you ever felt love before. I want slow and steady and I want jumping headfirst into anything as long as we're together. The kind of love that feels like home and like a great adventure. I want that love.
