I was thinking about my penchant for making swap Papyri wear jewelry (us and his rings, sweetswap and his bracelets), and some part of me really wants to have Honey (Loveswap) totally deck himself out in all sorts of accessories, like some sort of pirates of the caribbean inspired drag king or smth. Unfortunately, that would entail also drawing that, which I will not be doing. But I can imagine it...

Can we know about the Loveswap brothers, and about their personalities?

Of course! I still have quite a lot of buffing to do on that AU, but aesthetically I'm quite excited to get their designs down

Honey, whose nickname might be subject to change eventually, would be Papyrus, while Cerulean is Sans. Their AU was initially sparked from me trying to come up with both Lovetale and Loveswap Papyri because having the whole set really helps me nail down characterizations, and it felt a little odd just having Lace on his own like that. This does unfortunately mean I know more about Honey/Clove(?) than a lot of the others in the AU, but I think I've gotten a better foothold of Cerulean since then!

Starting with their relationship, the brothers have a rather paradoxical kind of thing going on, where they don't really talk much, and things are a bit strained between them, but they're still fiercely protective of the other, and care a lot (despite themselves).

Cerulean is a bit of a wild card. He comes off incredibly charismatic, fun, and clever, but there are landmines everywhere that'll get you on his blacklist, and if you find yourself on that bad side, he becomes a very cold, very judgmental person.

He doesn't trust easily at all, and few ever really see his "bad" sides because he puts so much effort into maintaining his public image. Not because he cares about it, mind you, but because it's how best to get by, and despite how rocky things have gotten between him and Papyrus, he'd be damned if he let anything bad happen to him because of his own negligence.

Most people have no idea how much they don't really know Cerulean, and he prefers it that way. He’s honestly almost a bit more like a "fell" version than just a swap because of things in his past that make him very guarded. Not even Alphys knows him all that well, and though he'd deny it, it was a very serious blow when he and Papyrus had their sort of falling out.

Honey comes across as incredibly laid back, a very go with the flow type. He flirts effortlessly, gets along well with most, and seems to exist in multiple places at once with how he always seems to be around whenever he’s needed. In reality, he spends a good deal of time taking recreational things to help with his nerves, and when he’s not too strung up, it's more so apathy than actual relaxation that takes the wheel.

He reached something of a "breaking point" when he and Sans had their worst argument, and he pressures himself to be as self reliant, and reliable to others, as possible. So much of the way their underground works puts the weight on how much you can do for others, and Honey has managed to find a pretty good balance for himself. Unfortunately it's also an incredibly delicate one.

Outwardly, both are social, friendly, and pleasant, with Cerulean being more active and Honey being more indifferent. Both are rather secretive and slow to trust, but you'd probably find that Honey isn't quite as tricky to get to as his brother...

When interacting "currently" (around the time of the game), the brothers aren't particularly cold to each other, they're just not as silly and wouldn't be as inclined to talk about the other. They do still live together and get along fine, they're just not as close as other swap aus.

Need some opinions pls

Sweetswap Papyrus' nickname has been Clover for a while. I think it's really cute and I love clover flowers and thought it worked since bees love them so much! However...

Since putting more thought into other AUs, namely Loveswap, I've struggle to come up with a nickname for that Papyrus, going with Honey for the time being. I don't really feel it suits him wel. I think Clove would suit him much better, as he’s ~spicy~ (and smokes clove cigarettes) but that would entail changing Clover's nickname since that's too confusing.

TLDR; I was thinking of basically swapping Clover and Honey's nicknames, but I'm not 100% sold on the idea since I like Clover being Clover so much. Obv Honey would fit fine thematically for sweetswap, but. Clovers so cute ahdjjdjsjd SO
