So, I ended up going on an unprompted 3 hour walk in the rain tonight. Part way through, I was close to going back home, but something snide of me told me to persist. So, I continued to walk and once I got to my new destination, the rain started to fall heavier and started beating on the surrounding pavement like a sea of endless drums. That was an experience I would not have if I had followed my initial plan of going home. My lesson of the day: delayed gratification #rain #pluviophile #myfavouritekindofday #lovetherain #beautiful
