Cosmos and Meteorfire had their fair share of misadventures while exploring the galaxy! Season 2, Episode 14 saw the pair travel to the distant world of Z’verei on the galactic rim. Having travelled there to observe the mating habits of the planet’s blimp-like blisterwings, Meteorfire landed himself in an embarrassingly amorous predicament when one of the enormous fliers, in the throes of organic passion, mistook his hovering alternate mode for a member of its own species!
In Season 4, Meteorfire and Cosmos travelled to the planet Herboo—though they had only gone there to watch the migration of the massive karknoid beetles, they were the first explorers to discover evidence of a primitive native civilization; a personal favorite of mine.
The eighth episode of Season 3 was quite notable for causing a stir in the wider galactic community—what began as a simple documentary regarding the festivities of the adorable Lovetopians devolved into a shocking expose regarding the horrible truth behind the delicious, highly addictive “Yum-yum juice” so beloved by the various organics of the Benevolon Sector. The highly disturbing nature of this episode meant that it was one of the only Alien Hunt! episodes pulled from circulation.
