Since I’ve started blogging I have been looking all over for events for bloggers in South Florida and I finally came across the South Florida Bloggers after looking at one of my favorite blogger’s post, The Budget Divaa. It’s nice to know that there are other bloggers around me after months of feeling like I was the only blogger in my area.
The April meetup, also my first meet up, was incredible! It was held in Downtown Miami in a suite that was beautifully decorated.
I was able to mingle with some great bloggers that gave me advice for the long run. Along with advice from local bloggers, Annabel Mendez of Marketites was there to share her wisdom on working with brands and becoming professional with your blog.
Alongside Annabel was Nikki Novo the co-founder of The Blogger Union who also shared her knowledge on marketing and branding. I left the meetup with a list of notes and plenty of unanswered questions answered.
I’m so happy and thankful that I came across The Blogger Union and I love what they’re are doing. I’m looking forward to future events and meeting other bloggers. My first experience has definitely showed me that I’m moving in the right direction.
