Daniel was sitting behind his desk, waiting for the students to start pouring in for the first class of the semester. This was his first day there since the previous teacher had retired. He wasn't nervous at all though. It wasn't his first time teaching a class.

Kai sat with arms crossed over her chest looking out the small hotel window the smell of bourbon lingered in the air mixing with the sweet smell of her perfume, she heard the door slam as the other walked in.

"Be honest with me, where were you last night?"

Alfie walked into the cafe where his friend worked as a waitress and headed for the counter. Standing at the end he bent around the counter to look for her. "Hey, Josephine." He pretty much shouted and turned to grin at the customers who were now looking at him. Turning back to his friend he continued. "What time are you done today?"
