Oooo how would Lavi react if he had a SO who is short (like 5'4" and under) and climbs things like a monkey to get what she's looking for?(I'm guilty of this) What would be his reaction if he just heard a loud crash and her shouting 'I'm alright!' seconds later only for him to come into the room to find her holding up the book she was climbing for with a little cut on her forehead from the books that fell on her? (I'm also guilty of this 😅)
Lavi is horrified after he hears you call out that you’re okay. The crash was startling, but he didn’t expect you to be the cause of it. He was the room in seconds, searching desperately for you. Books littered the floor and blanketed over you. He rushed over and starting pulling you up from the ground. He’d ignored the nervous smile you gave him and instead continued to search for more injuries.
“Lavi? Lavi, are you listening to me?” but he wasn’t and irritation grew in your voice, “Lavi!” He jumped back a little, startled, as you yelled his name.
“Yeah? What were you doing? I would’ve come to help, a ladder, or step-stool… Did you climb the bookshelf?” Lavi held your face in his hands, still shocked. He gingerly ran his thumb over the bleeding cut on your forehead. From his expression, you’d think you were bleeding out.
“I… improvised,” you laughed weakly and tried to smile so that Lavi would calm down. It helped a little, but it didn’t stop him from dragging you to the bathroom to clean the cut.
“Lavi, really, it’s nothing to fuss about-”
“You could’ve been seriously hurt! And-And I just… the thought of you getting hurt when I’m right here scares me, [Y/N],” he took a shaky breath and you watched him, shocked.
“I love you, please don’t do that ever again, yeah?” Lavi held your gaze and waited until you nodded before kissing you newly bandaged head. It was a bit excessive for a small cut, but you’d leave it on to satisfy Lavi. After all, he was only trying to care for you.
