I dreamt that I woke up late The alarm didn't go off The lights in the bathroom didnt work I went downstairs There you were sitting on the step Alive In your scrubs Putting on the shoes you just bought I told you about the light You complained about me not making you breakfast I apologized You said you were late You kissed my forehead I woke up in shock You are still gone No more forehead kisses Or trivial discussions Of lightbulbs and breakfast No more new shoes or scrubs No more you I cried til the sun rose
