Unlike Warren, who had a solid plan and perspective. Couldn’t help but be disappointed when she announced she was dropping out. But unlike the Bernie Bro’s, I’m not going to throw a fit because my candidate didn’t get the nomination.
I mean...that’s who he is. He’s the most alienating candidate I’ve seen. Drumpf wasn’t even “alienating” because he’s just an idiotic prick. This dude on the other hand thinks he has it all figured out, that he’s infallible, and that you’re either with him or you’re apparently a billionaire in the establishment. I’m a queer, Black and Latino immigrant woman who lived here undocumented for 5+ years and has six figures in student loan debt and pre-existing conditions. Far from the establishment and LIBERAL AS FUCK. But apparently since I don’t kiss at his feet I’m “The Establishment”.
Like...he lost SO MANY people when he went on Joe Rogan. You know what states we definitely need to swing this election? Texas and Florida. He just lost Texas in the primary and he lost Florida as a whole the moment he began publicly praising Castro. Cubans are NOT going to vote for Bernie. You need Cubans to win Florida. He’s not getting them. Period. End of story. He doesn’t have two of the biggest swing states we need. Why is he even still here?
Also, don’t you think it’s telling as fuck that Cheetoman LOVES to talk about Bernie? He wants to go against Bernie because he knows he will win against Bernie. Bernie also has never had any real oppo research done on him. With Biden we know exactly what they’re going after: Burisma and Ukraine. Been there, done that, people snooze about it. That’s not swinging any voters either way at this point. Bernie has never had shit dug up on him and every time they fucking do is some old tape of him praising some hella problematic people like dictators or just being his dumbass self. We don’t know what they have on him and the fact that Republicans seem SO KEEN to go up against him tells you it’s not good.
With the exception of TWO people, everyone I’ve even broached the topic of politics with in the last 6-8 months hates Bernie. It was either Warren or Pete for anyone I talked to. No one can stand the dude. But sure.......he has a great “coalition”. Uhum. Right. That’s why right now he has about 100,000 votes less than he had at this point in 2016. Killing it. Everyone on my facebook who is diehard for him is a white Bernie Bro who literally doesn’t listen when women or minorities tell them we don’t want Bernie. They live to silence other people. Will literally argue with women, queer, or POC voters writing them essays on why they don’t want Saint Bernard as a candidate and in the same breath talk about how tolerant and diverse they are. His followers are so not self-aware.
I haven’t read the news yet today so bummer to hear Warren dropped out. She really was the best and most qualified candidate but you know...she also happened to have a vagina and we know how that goes. It’s a 2016 repeat. I donated to her campaign multiple times, guess I have to start donating to Biden now. Yuck. But if putting my weight behind who gets the nom is now down to a choice between him and Bernie it’s Biden all the way. All day, every day.
