Warren dropped out today and it’s looking like she’s going to endorse Bernie. There’s only a small difference in delegates between Biden and Bernie. Also Bernie won California because of the historic latinx turnout plus he has the most diverse base out of anyone. Calling Bernie supporters idiots because they’re fed up with a system that’s not working and resulting in the deaths of their loved ones is not the take you think it is. We don’t think he’s a saint but we do thing he’s consistent

It would be disappointing if she endorsed him because just like 48 hours ago she was saying she was staying in the race to stop him. Elizabeth knows that Bernie is NOT the way to go and she has made it clear to so it would be hypocritical of her to do it.

Also...since you love to regurgitate his false talking points: go check the African American vote for every state that has voted and tell me how he has the most “diverse” base. Like...y’all and your candidate keep acting like African Americans aren’t the people who carry the elections every year. It’s a PROVEN THING. Yet he went on Maddow last night and basically shat all over all the AA community who didn’t vote for him. Y’all just lowkey racist as usual. But we been knew that since 2016 .

Bernie was going to win California no matter what. California doesn’t vote like the rest of the country does. That means nothing in the grand scheme of things or in regards to how good of a national candidate he is.

Let me ask you this: what do you think is going to happen if Bernie wins in November? Because the more time passes the more it is clear to me that none of you understand how the US government works. Do you have any idea how laws are made? At all? You guys think Bernie is going to win and the day after he is sworn in in January M4A is going to happen, billionaires are going to be taxed, and student debt will be gone. That’s just not fucking realistic. Y’all are getting swindled and if you didn’t have your heads too far up his ass to actually see things clearly you would notice that he’s selling you shit for gold.

We need a president who can legislate. Bernie has been a politician for 30 years. Thirty. He has gotten THREE pieces of legislation passed. One, two, three. THREE. That’s one for every decade he has had power lol. Two of them were renaming post offices. He’s one of the least effective politicians EVER. If Bernie is the candidate feel free to say goodbye to flipping the Senate and possibly losing the House again. If he’s the candidate that will affect SO MANY down ballot races negatively. Even if we keep the house, as much of an optimist as I am, with Bernie at the top of the ticket we’re not getting the Senate. Bernie can be president but without the Senate and without the ability to actually negotiate with people instead of screaming at them he’s not going to get jack shit passed as laws. What then? Huh? How are you getting all these pipe dreams he’s been tricking you with? Do you want another President to rule by executive order? I certainly don’t. I want a president who can legislate. I want a president who understands the nuances of politics and not just someone who screams at everyone who doesn’t agree with him. Getting shit done by EOs was one of my biggest gripes with Obama. He started shelling them out like candy when the Senate started stalling him and you know what Drumpy did the moment he got into office? He wiped his ass with them. That’s exactly what’s going to happen whenever another Republican is president if these things aren’t done the right way. Even so, Bernie could get SOME things achieved by executive order but his biggest promises can’t be done that way.

Honestly, I sometimes do almost want him to win just so I can see his delusional fanbase realize he was full of air the entire time and everything he promised you is about as accurate and realistic as Mexico paying for the wall.

I understand that something like this requires time and patience, while waiting for recovery, cure, “normalcy”, etc. But can we seriously switch out Trump with Elizabeth Warren ...just to speed up the process, until we figure this shit out?

I agree, a Biden/Kamala ticket is just too centrist. I do like Kamala despite some of her shady ass cop past, but I don't think her and Biden is the ticket to build a bridge to Warren supporters and the Bernie supporters who actually have some sense. I love the idea of Warren in charge of Edu. But her as senate majority leader? Makes me whet

Yeah, I just don’t know who else to put on there that would be the equivalent of Elizabeth without taking her away from somewhere else she could be useful. That’s where I struggle with this ticket. If they wanted to go “diverse” they could do a Joaquin Castro but like......he’s just not well known. He loses BAD every time he tries to run lol. People love to float the Stacy Abrams idea but she lost her own state. That’s a bad look going into a general presidential election. That and she’s just not that well known nationally. She’s definitely well to the left of Biden but what kind of weight does she really have to pull in those stragglers? We might have to bite the bullet and hope Warren ends up as his VP but I genuinely don’t want her there. I want her in the Senate or in a Cabinet position making men’s lives hell.

I so wanted Kamala to be president but that wish crashed and burned. I hope with fingers crossed Joe picks her as his running mate. I have my doubts on that now as well.

Kamala was on my top 3 but I honestly have my doubts that a Biden/Harris ticket is the best possible combination we can do here. I’m really split because I think Biden/Warren is the way to go but then I also wonder if VP is where she would be best utilized as. If she’s not going to be President then I want Warren somewhere where she has power. Put her as Secretary Of State, or give her a Cabinet position like Education, or make her the Senate Majority Leader. Idk what the answer is here but I’m just not confident Biden/Kamala is the way to go. It’s too “centrist”. Warren would at least bring could ultimately bring in a lot of the “progressive” base with her. I honestly struggle with what the best VP for Biden is and I think about it...A LOT.

Saint Bernard of the idiots asdfgjkl. Best thing I’ve heard in ages. He is incredibly alienating. And he and his band of blind followers are must whiny with no plan on how to achieve any goals. Unlike Warren, who had a solid plan and perspective. Couldn’t help but be disappointed when she announced she was dropping out. But unlike the Bernie Bro’s, I’m not going to throw a fit because my candidate didn’t get the nomination.

I mean...that’s who he is. He’s the most alienating candidate I’ve seen. Drumpf wasn’t even “alienating” because he’s just an idiotic prick. This dude on the other hand thinks he has it all figured out, that he’s infallible, and that you’re either with him or you’re apparently a billionaire in the establishment. I’m a queer, Black and Latino immigrant woman who lived here undocumented for 5+ years and has six figures in student loan debt and pre-existing conditions. Far from the establishment and LIBERAL AS FUCK. But apparently since I don’t kiss at his feet I’m “The Establishment”.

Like...he lost SO MANY people when he went on Joe Rogan. You know what states we definitely need to swing this election? Texas and Florida. He just lost Texas in the primary and he lost Florida as a whole the moment he began publicly praising Castro. Cubans are NOT going to vote for Bernie. You need Cubans to win Florida. He’s not getting them. Period. End of story. He doesn’t have two of the biggest swing states we need. Why is he even still here?

Also, don’t you think it’s telling as fuck that Cheetoman LOVES to talk about Bernie? He wants to go against Bernie because he knows he will win against Bernie. Bernie also has never had any real oppo research done on him. With Biden we know exactly what they’re going after: Burisma and Ukraine. Been there, done that, people snooze about it. That’s not swinging any voters either way at this point. Bernie has never had shit dug up on him and every time they fucking do is some old tape of him praising some hella problematic people like dictators or just being his dumbass self. We don’t know what they have on him and the fact that Republicans seem SO KEEN to go up against him tells you it’s not good. 

With the exception of TWO people, everyone I’ve even broached the topic of politics with in the last 6-8 months hates Bernie. It was either Warren or Pete for anyone I talked to. No one can stand the dude. But sure.......he has a great “coalition”. Uhum. Right. That’s why right now he has about 100,000 votes less than he had at this point in 2016. Killing it. Everyone on my facebook who is diehard for him is a white Bernie Bro who literally doesn’t listen when women or minorities tell them we don’t want Bernie. They live to silence other people. Will literally argue with women, queer, or POC voters writing them essays on why they don’t want Saint Bernard as a candidate and in the same breath talk about how tolerant and diverse they are. His followers are so not self-aware.

I haven’t read the news yet today so bummer to hear Warren dropped out. She really was the best and most qualified candidate but you know...she also happened to have a vagina and we know how that goes. It’s a 2016 repeat. I donated to her campaign multiple times, guess I have to start donating to Biden now. Yuck. But if putting my weight behind who gets the nom is now down to a choice between him and Bernie it’s Biden all the way. All day, every day.

Bern is one selfish prick. I was hoping he'd do the right thing and drop out and put his support behind JB, but nah. It is all about him. I was also hoping (not going to happen) that he would apologize to HRC for how he and his supports treated her. Yeah, she's got thick skin, but he helped trump into the WH. That's his fucking legacy. This is what he'll be remembered for and not the 3 pieces of legs, (two for naming post offices) Democrats haven't forgotten what he did.
