This railroad track was apart of the Grand Trunk railway system through the Don Lands. It was built in 1856 and went from Toronto to Montreal and was used for industry and commerce. It is now abandoned and walked over by pedestrians. #navigazing #lowerdonlands #TOtheWaterfront ~Claire~

What if there was a sound barrier dividing walkers and bikers from the noise traffic of the Gardener Expressway? This would be possible by growing tall plants to entrap or absorb sound vibrations or by putting up an attractive and effective partition, such as a fence.
