Was listening to 5ideways music and got a hankering to find out what I've been missing. *regret losing track back then* Found your new stories instead. Holy Shit they are awesome. For Hazards, love the characters and the atmosphere. So delightful and fucking creepy. I keep going "Oh Shit!" in horror and joy (sometimes at the same time).

Aw, thank you! I’m really glad you like my new work. That’s really my goal with this comic - make people say “oh shit!” out loud a lot.

Have they been to the vet recently? Could you confirm that this isn’t a medical issue?

Yeah they have it’s not a medical issue. Best guess is misplaced aggression if a stray cat walked past the other side of the screen and they couldn’t get to it they turned on each other. And after that first incident now they’re just super mad at each other. At this point I’m just gonna do a full reintroduction. I wish there had been an easier answer.

Hydra and the cyanide. Ooh I can answer this! They were yelling at each other about this in the show. They did check the teeth, I believe they said it was embedded in the cheekbone. Which is why he bashed his face on the table *which startled the hell out of me*

Ah, thank you for that. Of course I'm still wondering because...this probably wasn't a new tactic. Like, I understand ~plot point~ and all, but...the chances of hiding it in the cheekbone being a new trick isn't that high. It actually seems like a lot better idea than the teeth since the likelihood of accidental fracture is much lower (not like HYDRA gives a damn about losing its peons, but it's higher ups might care a bit more about their own lives). Like, their protocol should have been a dental x ray. And yeah I guess we could argue that they no longer had access to a dental x ray machine. But they have access to a special holding cell with force fields instead of bars so like...I don't know what to say about that.

I don't mean to sound harsh, though. I just have a great deal of fun pulling apart shows I enjoy. And lately a lot of stuff on AoS seems to be ~because reasons~.

And I mean, I can think of explanations for it turning out the way it did, but in the background the real reason is "we needed to get him out of the way after the convenient exposition because he's a potential problem to our plot."

Yay! As well, really like your blog, even when I scream "Why Would You DO That!!!" at my screen. TASM sort-of spoilers: remember the night Ben dies, Peter and him have that fight and Peter leaves. Ben goes out looking for him and BAD Things happen. Turns out Ben left a loving voicemail on Peter's phone asking him to come home. Peter doesn't know this because when he tries listening to it at the beginning he can't. Not until he has his Spiderman escapade revelations. Boy did I cry at that scene.

Finally watched the 1st season of West Wing and it is AWESOME. It's so funny! I need humor with my drama - I like the feeling of laughing and then being punched in the gut. Rereading PA tags. Didn't know Charlie had a sad backstory-fits Peter well. Got a thought, did Peter's Uncle die and leave the voicemail (like the movie) in your AU? Without the spiderman influence, would he have grieved and listened to it? If not, what you'd think happen if security takes his phone when they suspect a leak?

I haven't watched TASM in ages, so I don't remember the voicemail {and yes, Martin Sheen is still Uncle Ben, how could I not} but Charlie and Peter's backstories have some unfortunate parallels, for sure.

So I started seeing In the Flesh around tumblr a bit, so I watched it. Your site was the first place I saw it, so I'm just going to blame you for all the feels I have now. Oh Gods, when is the next season?!?! *love your blog by the way, makes me laugh and think*

I’m really glad that In the Flesh is getting so much attention, though. Especially from so many people coming over from the TW fandom. It increases the chances, I think.
