i really don't understand the type of 'progressive' mentality that says everyone who does something wrong or harmful must be cut off from all support, dropped by their friends and everyone immediately.
obviously it should go without saying that if cutting someone off protects you or makes you feel safe or it's something you want to do, then do that. no one is ever obligated to stay in contact with someone or continue to support them. and i'm not talking about financially supporting someone harmful as a fan.
this is about people who want to change and i think people do better with support. if someone does something harmful, isolating them does nothing to help. if they have people willing to encourage them to change and be better and hold them to that, i feel like that's good.
i don't know, i've been thinking about this a lot lately. i spent a lot of time in anarchist activist circles and one of the big things we focused on was rehabilitative justice and that just doesn't happen when the mentality is 'if this person has done harm, cut them off forever'.
watching 'the good place' again and thinking about the endless capacity for humans to change and become better and how i think one of the cruelest things you can do is to deny someone that chance

Thank for staying Loyal, I was unsure if sending you something, but this I need to tell you.
Thank you for everything you did and still do, I would not be here in this fandom without you, and I wouldn't have met my beautiful friends.
You are one of my great inspirations to be better even in the dark times.
Thank you for everything, love ya 🥰🥰♥️♥️
i'm so glad to be here <3 <3
it's not always been easy, anyone who has been around me for awhile knows the struggles i've been through in this fandom. it's gotten bad.
but i love my friends that i've made here and i love the works i've created and the love and care that all my friends put into their works. in the end, that's what matters. i believe people are good and i've seen that here, with all the people i've met.
nothing can take that away and if i can make other people feel just a little bit better, then it's worth it.
until my interest or inspiration fades, i'm always gonna be here, talking about the characters and stories i love <3 <3 and i hope to keep sharing it with the people and friends i love!
people will claim to be progressive and anti-cop and pro-prison abolition and still believe that people online they hate should be constantly punished for every mistake they made in their life.
as long as there're chickens and kind people in this world there's hope. No matter how much some want to hate at the end kindness and chickens would stand and hate would go down the hill and die
'hope is the thing with feathers'
YEAH. YEAH.
hope has feathers the same way chickens have feathers!
they're tough! they're full of love! they have sharp beaks and talons and sometimes you have to use them but at the end of the day the chickens are in the warm coop and they're singing sweet songs to each other and sitting so gently to warm their eggs and they'll love those babies so much studies show that hens change the way they teach their chicks if one chick is falling behind and everything will be OKAY.
i don't care if people want to be cruel and hurt others, in the end i'm still gonna trust in the inherent resilience of humanity and let it pet me when it could snap my neck and have me for dinner. i don't care!!
