Could it be how love felt? He no longer remembered. Honestly he didn’t know if anyone could love him anymore.

But Alex had always been different. She was the only good thing he’d had in his life recently, even Grace he had messed it all up with. He sure felt something for Alex and he didn’t see how it could be anything else.

He didn’t know how to reply at first, scared too that he would say a wrong thing and ruin the moment. Or even the entirety of what they had. "I don't know" He eventually answered, almost whispered. "Its possible"
