              “Have you lost your mind?” He’s never telling Nick anything ever again, certainly not about things he hasn’t done. One small comment and there’s a pillow fort in his living room with a wolf inside that’s so considerate and caring Karl can’t believe he’s real ( it seems that’s what having a pack is like ). “Nicholas – “ But the look on the other’s face has him sighing, crouching inside. “This is HUMILIATING.” And surprisingly comfortable, he realizes as he sinks into the nearest pillow.

               soft  blue  hues  shifted  from  the  book  she  was  reading  .  feet  tucked  under  her  while  she  sat  on  the  couch .  the  quietness of  the  home ,  making  her  feel like  just  perhaps --  she  was  content .  for  once  in  a  long  time .  she  hadn’t  had  anything  like  this  in  a  long  time .  not  since  when  her  grandparents  were  alive .  now  she  found  a  sort  of  family  that  she  could  depend  on .
