And here the link (oh god haha) for the fic I inspired by, Relic Hunters
E aqui está o link (HAHAH) para a fanfic que me inspirei, Relic Hunters

What is a Big Bang?
A ‘Bang’ is an event that has writers, artists and betas come together from the fandom to work together on a project. There’s projects are then published at the same time, giving the fandom a ‘bang’ of new content for everyone to enjoy.

A beta reader is a test reader for a piece of literature that hasn’t been published yet. In terms of the bang, being a beta reader is someone who helps the writer with their fic before it’s uploaded. They help the writer by giving constructive criticism of their fic and give ways for them to improve their fic, from things like grammar to plot and characterisation.
Things that you might do as a beta reader:
Help with plot, characterisation or pacing of the fic
Helping with proofreading/editing
Correcting spelling/grammar mistakes
Talking through problems that a writer has
Cheerleading! Emotional support is important
Anyone can sign up as a beta reader. You don’t need to have English as your native language. Different writers look for different things when it comes to a beta reader, and not everyone is looking for an English proof-reader. If you have any more questions about being a beta reader, then feel free to drop us an ask!
The discord will mainly be used for the bang, like talking to your group about your projects, as well as meeting other creators who are participating, however, it is open to everyone who wants to talk about Legend of Zelda
This is an event, where writers, artists and beta readers come together to work on a project. So, a writer will write a fic, a beta reader helps proof read the fic and the artist create art/content based off the fic. The event will span from January to June, giving everyone plenty of time to complete their own project. At the end of June, everyone will upload their content around the same time, meaning that the entire fandom will get a ‘bang’ of content.
The great thing about the event is that you don’t need a ‘portfolio’ to apply for the event, we are welcoming everyone who wants to join in and create content.
A ‘Bang’ is an event that has writers, artists and betas from a fandom working together on a project, and then projects are all published at the same time, so that the fandom gets a ‘bang’ of new content for them to enjoy. The writer takes the lead when it comes to a normal big bang, and an artist creates art to go with the fic, while a beta helps the writer when it comes to plot points, grammar and spelling, and general proof reading.

Don’t be afraid to send an ask if you have any questions/queries!
Will all art media's be allowed? Or only digital? Or does it only matter that it's a finished product?
Hey Nonnie!
All art media will be allowed, as art comes in all shape and sizes. For fanart, we are going to be asking that there is a least one image that is finished to the standard of your other work, whether that be traditional or digital, though we do ask that you scan your traditional work, or take a high quality image so everyone can enjoy every detail you add to it.
If you, or anyone else, has any questions on this topic then feel free to drop us an ask!
As some of you will already know, I was hesitant about making this bang possible due to the drama that the Breath of the Wild Big Bang caused. I love to create, organise, and run these events, and have done so in the past. I was hesitant because I was worried about stepping outside unspoken boundaries put in place, especially since I was never involved with the aforementioned bang, but I have still gone ahead with it anyways.
However, because of the drama, I understand that there are many people who are concerned, so below are my personal views on the ‘pro-ship movement’.
My personal viewpoint when it comes to the topic of shipping is that people can ship whatever they like. It’s really none of my business what people do, and if that’s shipping something that I personally don’t like then that’s their prerogative. However, it should be emphasised that there is a time, and more importantly, a place to talk about them. People should not be harassed for what they ship, but it should work the other way too, in which people should not have to see that kind of content if they do not want to, which includes talking about these ships in spaces that people did not agree to talk about them.
I personally do not care for incestuous ships. It can be triggering for me sometimes due to my own experiences, so I make sure that I don’t see that kind of content, whether that be on Ao3, Tumblr or anywhere else. However, despite my own views on those kinds of ships, it is in no way appropriate to talk about them in front of minors at all, whether they’ve just turned 13 and are allowed on internet spaces for the first time, or a day away from turning 18. At the end of the day, minors cannot give their consent, and the nature of those kinds of ships almost always has a nature of NSFW mixed in with it. If you would not talk to a minor about these topics to their face, then the same consideration should be held when talking to them over the internet.
Personal comforts aside, it’s extremely important to say that it is illegal to show minors NSFW content. Topics like incestuous ships fall into that category. That is why I cannot, in any way, shape, or form, allow it to be a part of the Legend of Zelda Big Bang, or on the server. There are other places for people to talk about these kinds of topics, whether that be in other servers or dms, but the server I have created for this event is not that place.
By creating this bang, I am putting myself into a position where I am responsible for minors, the media they consume as well as their comfort and safety. I understand the position I’ve put myself in, and I am going to make sure that it is my priority in this bang. I recognise that many people have the understanding that people should monitor their own internet usage and the content that they consume, and I agree, but only to an extent. On sites like Tumblr and Ao3 where almost nothing is blocked from the user until said user puts measures in place to not see undesirable content, the same cannot be said for sites like Discord and other forums pages, where it becomes a moderator’s job to make sure that everyone is following the rules of the sever and to keep the safety of others in the forefront of their minds.
If something happens where someone feels uncomfortable with a topic, past a point of 'oh I just don’t like what their talking about because I’m not interested in it', then the topic needs to stop and move onto something else. Depending on the topic and if it breeches the rules of the server and the bang, either me or another trusted mod will be talking to the people responsible and action will be taken depending on the situation, ranging from a warning to being completely dropped from the server and bang. If something happens where the safety and comfort of others is not able to be the priority anymore, then I will just cancel the bang and move on with my life. This event it supposed to be fun and enjoyable, where people come together to create new friends and create awesome content for everyone to enjoy, but if it gets to the point where people are too scared to go onto the server because of what might be talked about, then there's no point in running the event.
That being said, if anyone has any concerns, issues, or questions, then I will happily answer or address them. I want to people to be able to come to me with issues they have, and I will happily take on any advice that people want to give, especially when it comes to this topic and others similar to it. I also want to show people how these kinds of events are supposed to go, because I'm assuming that the Breath of the Wild Big Bang was the first event like it for a lot of people, and it's not fair on them that that was their first and only experiences with such an event. I have made lifelong friends during such events, and I’m so sorry to everyone that that wasn't the case for them.
I hope that cleared some things up for everyone. If not, then the asks to this blog, my personal blog, and my dms on Tumblr and Discord are always open.
