Independent student research in Law
As part of the Graduate Diploman in Law students carry out an independent Legal Research Project. This requires them to practise research skills in order to acquire knowledge of a legal subject that is not taught on the course. This is a very successful module with positive feedback from the students a an high average mark across the cohort.

Mock trials for Law students
The Diploma in Legal Practice includes civil and criminal litigation mock trials. In preparation for students conducting their own advocacy in civil and criminal litigation trials, barristers and a district judge are present. Students obtain the benefit of courtroom practice by conducting their own mock trials in the old courtroom in the Oxford Town Hall.
