💙💖💜#NationalComingOutDay, you say?💙💖💜⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ It should be no secret that I'm a proud bisexual/queer lady. (If it's a surprise to you, be surprised no longer.)⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ I guess I always thought that people who were close to me knew - at least when I hit my late teens. By then, I'd had relationships with girls and boys but the queer side of me wasn't really "out". Then, I was in an abusive relationship where my partner was angry about anything that had to do with LGBTQIA+ identity. There was no way I was going to admit anything then.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Now, I have a loving partner, and I'm not afraid to tell the world that all sorts of people are pretty. Coming out has not been without risk, though, to my professional status and in relationships with certain friends and family who have heavy religious backgrounds.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Please know that I'm here for you - even if we've never talked in person. I think about you. I wish you bravery and strength - out or not. It's sometimes not safe for us to tell the world who we are, and I am sorry about that. I hope you are able to find that peace and safety someday. We in the community are here for you when can get there. ⠀⠀ Thank you to all who have made me feel safe in my identity. I owe you so much. 💕 . . . . . . . . #bisexualpride #bisexual #lgbtqa #lgbtq #queerwoman #queeridentity #nationalcomingoutday2018 #queerpride #queerlady #lqbtpride #comingoutstory #queerperson #nerdygirl #thisisme https://www.instagram.com/p/Bo0WVF7DhaF/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=bw266r1ueaeo
