I keep wanting to ask about your writing but I just don't know what to ask about, so...What are you writing?

SO many things. I've got like 8? things/concepts/AUs that are on active rotation (AKA who knows how long this will take but I want it completed and posted out there to be read) and then a bunch of other things that I find shiny but may or may not do anything with or be willing to have on the internet and visibly attached to me.

I have like two and a half GG/HS AUs (I think you've actually made it far enough in Homestuck that I'm free to bounce anything from these off of you without worrying about spoilers now)? And two Gilvek AUs that I won't be able to properly write for who knows how long bc they're connected to an unpublished still-in-progress original novel-thing from an author whose fanfics I love. LRGW, of course. (Plus LRGW's angst timeline. And a Soulmate AU of LRGW. Don't think I'd write either out in full, but I kinda want to put a couple pieces out...) I've got a GG Roleswap AU that I should get back into at some point. And a Leverage AU of GG that I haven't touched in...months?

And last night I wrote like 3 paragraphs of a scene of my take on a Frozen AU of GG because I saw that one post floating around again.

In LR:GW, was Agatha raised more in the boiling isles, or the human realm, or an even mix?

More in the human realm, I think. It was a mix, especially once Raeda got back together, but the Human Realm didn't have a government that actively wanted them hunted down.

I'm definitely handwaving exact logistics of how them living there worked, but I do know that there were absolutely people who met them and figured that they were in some kind of witness protection.

Agatha liked both worlds, but the Boiling Isles were PEAK enrichment for her Feral Sparking Child energy. That was a big part of why she grows into a fairly stable Spark (particularly for how powerful she is). Running around in a Volatile Hellworld was a great outlet for her to have.

🧠 Gil -

Canon!Gil: Beetleburg wasn't the first management trip thing that Gil went with his dad on. The first time, after one of those meetings, they accidentally grabbed each other's coats on the way out. Gil tripped on the longer hem and just turned it into an acrobatic maneuver, but Klaus' whole 'being built like a fucking brick wall' thing ripped a number of seams. (Despite the actual assessment having gone well, their host immediately thought that he was going to die for the crime of having witnessed this.)

LRGW!Gil: He and Luz are going to get along so well once they meet. Just Absolute Vibing. Don't know if I'll ever write it out, but at some point in the future they definitely create sillygoofy masked personas and pull a heist on someone's lair together. How effectively Gil's identity was actually concealed by this measure is a subject of heated debate. (The lair's owner certainly didn't know who it was. Eda handwaved it as fine because they both came out okay. Klaus and Tarvek both attempted to start a Disapproving Lecture about the stunt at the same time, in the same tone of voice, and then preceded to actively avoid both each other and Gil for the rest of the day.)

🤩 - So far Agatha is the most fun to write. LRGW!Agatha's altered childhood has left her with a pretty different perspective and a LOT more confidence then Canon!Agatha, which I really like exploring with my brain. It's one of the things that helped motivate me to actually write this series in the first place!

For lighting rods Agatha, is she able to do Raine’s trick of humming to change the composition of drinks with heterodyning?

Ooh, I bet she could, provided that her Palisman was around to provide the magic!

I bet she could also build a sonic gun that does something without magic, but it wouldn't be anywhere near as subtle.

You know those rats from Yesterday's Lie that can talk bc they ate magic-infused croissants or whatever?

Well in this world they all got eaten by local raccoons.

And thus, post-Belos, Agatha and Luz end up adopting and coparenting 26 newly sapient raccoons.

This should actually get brought up in the fic eventually, but the Alphabet Avalanche doesn't become plot-relevant til sometime in Mechanicsburg.

If you want to know how this could possibly be plot relevant, you know that one scene in The Wild Robot that's almost body horror? If not, go watch it.

How about a new game?  Flipped spoilers. Instead of you asking me for spoilers, how about YOU make up spoilers for my story and I’ll respond to what I think of your spoiler.

The BI team will make a full plan to take the Wulfenbach Empire/Klaus complete with playlist. (That's not the spoiler)

Klaus' discovery of this plan sets diplomatic relations back approximately half a story.

That's not a spoiler, that's an AU where Klaus gets on Agatha's bad side enough that she decides to stay on Castle Wulfenbach instead of ditching them.

In this AU she's also just ignoring Gil. Until her family shows up and Luz decides to kidnap him and cast Inflict Found Family, anyway.
