gilgamesh and bruce as pre-teens, and as new borns with their respective parents

Small design update for Rowan! Also!!! Rowan is 13 so a year older than Gilgamesh! (Based from the age development from @azure-bluet)

recollecting information on gilgamesh

i finally figured out the kids's development:

1 month = 1 year of growth until they hit 14. once they get to that age, 1 year = 1 year

so since bruce was born in march, he's currently 4 years old both physically and mentally

gilgamesh was born in july, so they're currently 12 years old

*edit i decided to change it so they age a year per month until they turn 12. so the day they were born in remains their bday

sorry for asking so much about Bruce i promise this is the last, but since you mentioned zam and hannah helping raise him too, do they have some sort of influence in the way he acts? because i think being brought up not by one or two, but three people who are a different flavor of very paranoid (minute, hannah, zam) surely must do something to a baby, no? or is he more like mapicc?

please don’t be sorry/stop, i love talking about bruce and i’m very happy to hear you like him enough to ask so much as well :D it’s also helping me come up with more about him

first things first: to me, pregnancies and infancies are way, way shorter in mc than they are in real life. bruce is born within 9 days, and then grows into kid age within the month.

while hannah doesn’t take care of bruce (she’s more of a babysitter, as are a couple other members of the server), bruce probably picked up some things from her, but not as much as he did zam minute or mapicc.

i asked a friend for their opinion on this, and we decided that the kid is more like mapicc, but also acts like minute at times. he’s more cautious than mapicc and more reckless than minute.

my friend also suggested that zam teaches bruce about escape routes and staying silent when the time arises. zam has a kid (the mitosis fish kid from earlier in the season), gilgamesh. my friend came up with a situation where mane and/or flame visit zam while he’s alone with the kids and gilgamesh helps bruce stay quiet and still, ready to flee if the situation calls for it. at first bruce would be hot headed and “i’ll show these guys not to mess with us”, but gilgamesh manages to hold him back. these are mane and flame, after all, there’s no way they would be able to win against them. especially in a server where it’s just so easy to die. and mane and flame taking the kids hostage would force zam to do things or take measures he wouldn’t want.

zam would also take the kids on “sight seeing tours” and “fun base building expeditions” and when he’s younger bruce doesn’t think much of it as they are fun activies, but as he grows older he realises that zam didn’t want to be found home alone with the two kids, as it’d be an extremely vulnerable situation, so she’d take them to random and safe parts of the server without having to worry for an attack.
