Lucifer & cocaine 😎
Plotholes
I’m a big fan of the Lucifer writers and have enjoyed seeing what they come up with next. I’ll admit, I’m not a big fan of season 3 for a number of reasons but I’m reserving my judgement until after the final. I don’t agree with those people out there that you should just forget what your issues are as long as the end game is what you desire because doing that is usually when I stop watching a series as I simply can’t be bothered anymore. And one of the things that bothers me most, are plotholes. That’s why I was sad to notice a number of them in S3E23.
When we first meet Charlotte Richards in S2E2, she’s already dead and her body becomes mom’s. We learn about her law firm, her lover Brad Wheeler and Liam Pickering, disgruntled associate that killed her. When we reconnect with Charlotte’s old firm in S3E23, it’s a year later and Brad’s suddenly called Ben Wheeler. Not a major thing, but the fact that the firm used to be his fathers and that Charlotte herself started as an associate there 13 years ago is much worse because those facts make what Liam Pickering says all wrong. A newly hired associate mentoring another associate? Not very likely. And why would Pickering be disgruntled and feel Charlotte promoted Wheeler because she was sleeping with him if Ben sr. was the original owner? And that means THERE’S NO REASON FOR LIAM PICKERING TO KILL CHARLOTTE RICHARDS IN THE FIRST PLACE!
And that’s why I hate plotholes, they turn truths into lies and in this case, they rewrite history as we know it.
Someone in the Lucifer writer’s staff has probably watched “Mean Girls” so many times that s/he knows the lines by heart and thought it would be a great homage to give us his/her take on Regina getting run over by a bus no less than two times;D
Are you having a senior moment Luci?
The show v. Gag Reel
A couple of lines from the Gag Reel makes me convinced that someone on the writing staff is into old Tom Cruise films especially after seeing Lauren German’s dance in the SDCC sizzle reel and Luci talking about “Eyes wide shut” (S1E12). It’s not the first lines about Top Gun but the ones in the third gif that made the actors giggle like lunatics. I believe they are referring to Tom Cruise is 'Master of the Muffin and Frank T.J. Mackey from Magnolia (1999) .Add to it that Frank T.J. Mackey and his ideas sound very much like the ones of Carver Cruz and his Players Club in S1E4.
Luci and the eternity.
