Hello Dr Lowhoof what exactly is the orb? I know you mentioned it was something but how is it that exactly?

The orb is a device of magic and machinery together. Despite its simple shape, its filled with an old, powerful magic. That's the reason why it can move so... freely... than other enchanted items.

Unfortunately, the creator's blueprints are gone. Just like he is. So, I can't really have all the answers to how it works. All I know is that this thing is exactly what I needed and that I'm happy to have found it.

....and we're walking... and we're walking.... and we're walking. Anyways, personal jokes aside, there's only one page left until the end of this introductory chapter. I'm planning on taking a break from writing 'The Astronomer' in order to work on the other story.

It'll probably operate in a similar manner. That being that the first chapter will be more of a comic that'll eventually lead to asks. You all, good readers, can still send asks anyways. Also, we're nearing the first anniversary for this blog. So, that's fun.

Happy Pride everybody! I wanted to do something with the current protagonist and deuteragonist of Lost Stars and Eternal Eclipses.

She closed the door once we finished our exchange. After, I watched as her silhouette disappeared into the darkness of the balcony. I could still hear her as she made her way up the fire escape and back to her apartment. To be honest, I don't know how long I stood still and listened after that. I couldn't help but sigh.

At least that part of the night was real. I could trust that she was real.

The ORB hovered about the room in the meanwhile. I hadn't noticed it until she said it, but the orb did let out a strangely loud hum.

Since we're nearing the end of this story's first chapter, I wanted to do some bigger drawings for it. Namely, I wanted draw a more detailed version of Connor's apartment.

Various doodles of Bea (and a sneaky Connor in the top right). This was mainly used for figuring out a different hairstyle that I could use and some different outfits.

I'm debating on if I'll actually use Bea's work outfit. It's a similar debate to whether or not I'll be using Connor's work outfit.

What's not a debate is the drawing in the bottom right. I wanted to sketch out a little bit of her apartment. A concept, so to speak.
