               After scrolling down one last time to reread the messages, Chanyeol closed the app with a sigh and tucked his phone away. Glancing around the mall’s plaza but too nervous to meet anyone’s eyes, shifted from a foot to another. He had been patiently waiting for fifteen minutes, each second increasing his anxiety and making him doubt his decision. Half an hour earlier, when he had left the apartment, Chanyeol had been confident that everything would go smoothly and by the end of the day, he would have officially another real-life friend to bother. Now, the rational side of him was begging him to go back and make up some excuse for not showing up.

               No matter how much one might have read about it online, hanging out with someone they met on the internet was worrisome in various ways. Even more when meeting someone they haven’t ever seen on video or even exchanged photos. When he had thought about it before, that seemed particularly ironic, seeing as their friendship had been built on creepy stories about murders and what not.  Now Chanyeol wasn’t so sure if the thought was that entertaining to him. For all he knew, pianosk1990 could be a dangerous psychopath that patiently awaited years for their victims, or a kidnapper that somehow had figured exactly who he was, or a black market dealer, or anything, really.

               He should’ve asked for a skype call or anything like that before suggesting the encounter and now he was going to die because of his stupidity. Amazing.

               Just as he had chosen to obey his self-preservation instinct and leave, Chanyeol heard a voice calling for him, close enough to freeze him in place.

no need for apologises. I was in the wrong too, you know, didn't know where I was setting foot nor did I pay attention to what was going on around me. {pauses for a second just to look into her brown hues;  you're Sung Kyung, ain't you?

{after checking his watch, he quickens his pace fearing to arrive at the meeting place in late, but it was at this exact moment someone bumped into him, making his folder to fall onto the ground as he doesn't expected it to happen. with a hand running through his hair in a sheepish mannerism, he hums a quiet chuckle, bending down to pick his item up from the floor; nah, it's a'ight. I'm fine. how about you, tho?
