I just caught up on Gotham High and it was great, obviously, but more importantly: Bruce says that raccoons are a perfectly acceptable animal but personally I'd classify them as having people hands. What are his feelings on raccoon hands?
Hahaha, he doesn’t actually care about people hands on animals, it’s just that as he gets older his sense of humor skews toward committing himself entirely to a really stupid bit, or alternately, just saying really dumb shit and then coming up with ways to justify it (like saying that he doesn’t like animals with people hands, then further claiming that prairie dogs are people and therefore don’t count as animals with people hands, or insisting bats can make everything better up to and including soup) (pugs really do depress him, though). Raccoons definitely have people hands, though. They’re little trash burglars.
notebook, calculator, stencil
notebook: what’s your favorite quote? i can never find the full quote anymore bc it’s in a book i lent a friend years ago, but it’s from miuccia prada, and the gist of it is that people who claim to be above fashion are ridiculous, because they still have to make clothing choices in order to communicate that idea—and communicating ideas through clothing the core of fashion. i do detest the fashion industry now but i also think it’s a huge waste of energy and lowkey misogyny when people crow about how much they don’t care about clothing and this quote really gets to why lmao
calculator: list fifteen things that make you happy sure, why not! no people, bc people are not things, anyway in no particular order:
sitting by the window and facing the opposite direction a train is traveling
napping outside in the sun
conversely, being in a clean bed with the covers pulled up while it rains heavy on my window by the bed
cooking for others
writing
hearing what people think of my writing
a summer day with nothing to do
snoozing with my cats :( i miss my cats
new black clothes lmao
that early part of morning right when the sun is all the way up but the only people who are up are morning commuters not awake enough to talk so there’s quiet but not too much quiet
being alone in deep snow on a city block
playing the sims
seeing my friends and doing something low energy with them
the smell of shortbread cooking
grits
stencil: who are your role models? honestly.... i try not to have any, because i’ve done it before and i’ve watched other people feel like they were falling short, and it’s just easier to not. it’s not that i don’t think i should have goals, ambitions; i just will set my own, at my own pace. i’m happier this way
I think I remember you saying it was possible to order a fashion binder with spoonflower fabric, was that a thing? If yes how do I go about ordering that?
Email us! You could totally be the first.
Here’s the deal: spoonflower’s stretch fabric is $32/yard, so spoonflower prints will be $75. We’ll put it up on the Misc Prints listing at your request!
Thanks for asking,
Ark

I showed this to Azz and he laughed, paused, laughed again, and then just said "No."

Ark maybe? It is a survival game with dinosaurs. Although suddenly being eaten by a giant dinosaur you didn't see until it was too late is a different kind of scary.
i can handle suddenly being eaten by dinosaurs is there like a trial i can do
frozentreasure replied to your post “how do i get blood stains out of denim”
There are pre-wash stain removal sprays you can get, but I don't remember the exact brand my mum normally uses, sorry.

idk if there's anything for denim specifically, but scrub them in the sink with cold water and soap til the stain is largely faded, then wash in the machine on a cold cycle
Will you be looking into binders with fasteners at some point? I love these and I want one, but I have joint problems that make trying to pull binders on and off over my head usually too big an ask.
Yes!! Yes, I will, and in fact have already started, because I do know that struggling into a pullover binder is a real problem for a lot of us.
Thus far on my experimental table, we have:
A zipper binder (a nice tough jeans zipper, so it doesn’t pull apart the way my old LesLoveBoat zipper binder did),
A binder with hook-and-eye tape like a tall, front-fastening bra, and
A busked binder, as in the solid steel front fastening of a corset.
Stay tuned. I’m experimenting with every spare moment in between paid orders, and I will need models when the front-fastening binders are in testing phase. When that’ll be, I can’t say just yet - things are shaking up around here, and I fully expect production to pick up really soon, thanks to exciting developments on the personal side.
Thanks for asking!!
