Oregon bound. I’m excited to join the Landscape Architecture Department at the College of Design’s School of Architecture and Environment at the University of Oregon for a two-year visiting professor project. I call it a project because in addition to teaching studio and enviro-comm through the lens of my practice, I’ll spearhead a new design-ecology initiative between the department and HJ Andrews Experimental Forest. I’m very grateful to HJA’s Fred Swanson and LA Dept Head Roxi Thoren for this unique opportunity. Oregon Bound. I’ll be a writer-in-residence at the HJ Andrews Experimental Forest this April as part of the Long Term Ecological Research Site Reflections program by @springcreekproject . Unique position; part research assistant, part video production, full time HF resident. Runs May 21 to Aug 3, 2017.
