Brick by brick, we will continue to build a sustainable and inclusive land transport system for Singapore. Minister Ong Ye Kung reaffirmed our commitment to Singaporeans in MOT’s Addendum to the President's Address earlier today, even as we tackle the challenges brought about by COVID-19, to make Singapore a 45-Minute City with 20-Minute Towns by 2040 where we can walk, cycle and ride conveniently. Our active mobility infrastructure is expanding. Over the next decade, our current network of cycling path will grow over 1,300km with the Islandwide Cycling Network Programme. This means that the nearest cycling path will be just 5 mins away for most HDB residents - making it easier and safer for all to commute or run quick errands in our neighbourhoods. Whether we are walking, cycling or riding, look out for those who travel with us. A gracious and caring culture is the cornerstone of our transport system and we can make our journeys more pleasant together. #ltmp2040 #safepaths #ridesafe #caringSGcommuters #SGunited https://www.instagram.com/p/CEZSgmLHqg-/?igshid=tbrr0lvh1weu
