Well this wasn’t the first time she’d fucked up enough to have to crawl through a window at two am so she could hopefully not die that night. Or at least not die by the hands of the HYDRA agents she’d been hunting down. She managed to get the window closed and stagger over to tile flooring before her knees gave out on her. She managed to slid down a counter or table or something rather than straight up falling. If she could have seen better through the blood pouring down her face she would have taken stock of the house she’d just broken into but as it was all she could manage to do was prop herself up against what ever it was, and try very hard not to pass out in some random person’s house.

      It was a wonder that he’d been allowed to wander at all while on board HMS Providence, but Barbossa, of all people, had agreed to his term that he wasn’t to be kept prisoner aboard here -- and so his prison had become all that wider, confined to the bounds of a ship full of men who, ordinarily, would want him dead as opposed to being confined in said ship’s brig. While Jack had been glad that he was being treated as a navigator as opposed to a prisoner, it wasn’t enough to dissuade him from seeking out any ALTERNATIVE options to the deal that he’d struck with his formerly mutinous first mate. And as he caught the eye of one of the officers, glancing briefly up at where Barbossa was at the helm of the ship, Jack might have just found his chance.

The order didn’t come from him, but the captain - a man named Sanchez who had been put in that position before Zo had become quartermaster - and the Italian wasn’t much happy about it. But the logic was hard to argue. They were a post ship, the size of a small frigate, and facing down a British ship-of-the-line, with the possibility of more around, and they were already low on ammunition and powder. 

In other words, they were shit out of luck. 

And they were about to be boarded. How many of them would get killed?  Zo could practically feel the noose around his neck already.

Eyes squinted upwards- a feeling he had forgotten- towards the sun and the man before him. A few more lines were defined on his face since they had last spoken, but it was unmistakably Theodore.

“Is your errand so important that you disregard any who stand in your way?”

OMG. Anna would get so many grey hairs if she caught him using a bayonet in the house. Okay. LIKE NO WEAPONS AROUND THE BABY OLD SOLDIER OR NOT. That is how his life ended the first time. No repeat exits after getting SPY MOMA so attached.

😨 Oh no what happened to all the russian caravan?!

Amber eyes turned to bore down upon the other lieutenant.The empty tea tin in his hand still smelled of the distinctly fragrant leaves. 

“Theodore Groves. Have you used all of my tea?”

There was no sign of Will’s nervous stutter for there was no hesitation in his accusation. He knew of Theo’s tea preferences and they both happened to enjoy Russian caravan. However, the tea had been purchased a fortnight ago, and there is no reason why it should already be gone.
