Summary of 2024

I can't believe I've drawn SO MANY things in the last couple of months. It's insane, I've never been this active before. Even though most of what I've drawn was angst in some shape or form... I'm still proud of m'self heh. Hopefully I'll get more energy to draw next year. Maybe there'll be even more angst, maybe I'll move on to fluff ,':)

Plan for 2025:

- more emotional things!

- more woy

- less fear, more art

- more raw sketches

- Collaborate with other artists

- Write fanfiction (drabbles at least)

I can't leave you without some details and facts, can I? (I can't)

Shimmer shimmer shimmer shimmer shimmer

Some facts under the cut:

Nefario knew all too well where he was going, hence the tactical vest with multiple pockets for all kinds of gadgets and explosives.

The "core" (the glowing shimmer thing) belonged to Nefario (he somewhat made it) a long time ago and he had to steal it back when he heard that it had resurfaced again. The thing is powerful enough to level city blocks, so, obviously, Nefario had to get it back to prevent bloodshed.

Gru was supposed to stay back and not interfere, but, naturally, he wanted action, so he got some of that and a bleeding arm. Nefario will scold him later for sure.

Gru is enjoying the show even though he feels like he's gonna fall asleep at any given moment. He's not even slightly bothered by the ordeal. Just another Tuesday for him, y'know?

I think Nefario has an entire wardrobe of outfits for any type of mission. Blending in is crucial in their line of work and he's prepared for everything. This coat was ruined, however. And the glasses are on because? Because. What a show off smh

Nefario's face says it all - he's exhausted, the day is far from over, and they both need medical attention (and only one of them is qualified enough to provide it). But before all that he needs to fly them home. I hope the ship has autopilot...

I like how much more menacing he becomes when there's no catchlights in his eyes. Man's literally one second away from tearing someone to shreds. Maybe I should continue drawing him like that - dangerous, deadly :3

I quite like the idea of him being that silly scientist who makes silly inventions for a silly kid with abandonment issues and huge ambitions, but when the opportunity arises, he becomes a menace. A dangerous, extremely smart individual who you don't mess with. Because if you do, he'll make your life hell. And if you mess with his team and especially his kid - there's no way he'll leave you breathing.

He's adorable like that is all I'm saying :P

I took a spontaneous middle-of-the-day nap yesterday and woke up with this face (ಠ⁠_⁠ಠ) as I've dreamt about cracking inappropriate jokes with sniper from TF2. I had a thick British accent for some goddamn reason. To match his Aussie accent I'm guessing.

Is this the way that fandom infects people - through dreams? Is there some kind of manipulation tactic that lures people into the fandom? What's happening, huh?????

hey tumblr, does anyone know what's the correct/socially accepted word for the quirks that come with autism/adhd? i'm editing the new chapter of my webcomic and I'm a bit on the fence about using the term "symptoms", although I believe they are the medical term for stuff like hyperfocus, executive dysfunction, etc. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks a lot <3
