Gu Long, ah Gu Long, why you gotta jump scare me with the random naked sexy woman in the opening chapters?!
Ok, but there I was muttering to myself how much I appreciate Gu Long for being like the Terrance Dicks of wuxia (really prolific, deliberately using easy to read vocabulary to tell exciting stories! Accessible for people like me with low literacy to still enjoy!) but whatever quirks Terrance Dicks had at least he didn't just drop a naked woman into a Doctor Who story, LOL. This is like the third time now (could be more, in books I haven't read, or in fan translations that censored it)!!!
Anyway, reading Lu Xiaofeng now (this is your fault, @compulsivereaderluc for reminding me this exists) and watching the 2007 series (The Legend of Lu Xiaofeng). It's fun so far... reminded me a bit of Columbo with the villains outsmarting themselves when they invite Lu Xiaofeng to investigate.
I look forward to finally learning the story of "Simon Snowblower"! (sorry, I saw someone call him that and now it's stuck in my head).
