LUARCA
Luarca is situated in the coast of Asturias, Spain and is considered to be one of the most attractive towns in the region. Which is why we decided to visit this place.
It is a quiet and charming town that’s well known for seafaring. But for me, it’s mainly the unspoiled tradition and characteristics of the town that makes it more favored.
Luarca town
Aside from the sea at front, the town is also divided into two by small rivers, thus, you’ll see bridges around.

The fishery harbor is worth visiting. Just by simply walking around the port gives you a sense of tranquility.

You’ll also find restaurants infront of the harbor, which is a perfect view to enjoy a seafood meal or for an afternoon and night drinks.

You’ll also see the lighthouse and white church cemetery of Luarca from afar. Despite the gloomy weather, the angry sea still looks beautiful with its strong waves.
The sea
Overall, it was a quiet trip around the town. Everything’s at ease, despite the presence of the tourists. I guess the sea made everything more calm. It’s a perfect place for a quiet reverie.
