My understanding of Lubunto Vs Puppy before I started this little experiment was that lubunto was for people who didn't want to commit to something like puppy. now having used both I think I was kind of right. if your computer is slowing down cuz it's like 5 to 10 years old and was never super high quality to begin with Lubunto will probably serve you well without you having to give up too many luxuries. but if you're like me and the computer is like at least 15 years old probably just jump to fossapup.
Of course if its the first and you're still ON windows you could probably try something like base Ubuntu or mint or ziron first and give up even less luxuries. I think the average windows user will like Ziron the best.
Lubunto isnt riving the "new" computer quite as well as fossapup. Seems to run marginally better then win10. But that just means its taking a few minutes to load things instead of several.
