Five fun facts about Luca maybe?

He very seldom gets cold because his magic is like a furnace inside of his chest. Whenever Grace absorbs his magic, he feels a chill.

His magic also gives him a lot of extra energy so he's very fidgety. Usually this manifests as tapping out rhythms on whatever he can find (when he's in a good mood) or tracing his glowing scars (when he's feeling angsty)

His freckles also glow! He can wear long sleeves but theres nothing he can do about that

Enne is still taller than him by an inch much to his chagrin. He was really counting on that teenage growth spurt but nope. She'll always be his big sister.

He's got a number of friends who are singers and musicians in the Church of the Artist, which is great, because he's just a little bit tone deaf. This does not stop him from belting enthusiastically with Alex.

Sorry everyone for the lack of Storge content recently! I promise I’m still editing, it’s just going frustratingly slow. As of my most recent update, I’m halfway through chapter 4 and was writing a new introductory scene for the anarchists when school started and consumed my life. Next week is supposed to be our “pacing break” so supposedly my classes will be easier, and hopefully I’ll have enough time to sit down and get some good work done to give you all a real update.

Please take these class scribbles as an alternate offering. I realized that I barely draw Luca and I never really bothered to nail down a design for him, so I’ve been playing with his appearance in my new sketchbook and I think I’ve settled on this version. He looks more like Grace and Enne’s brother now than with the straighter hair he had before.

website update!

I got super sidetracked from this by school starting but I’ve started posting updated character introductions on my new author’s website! The ones currently linked in my WIP are really old, I think I posted them the first month I had this blog and they’re out of date and just difficult to read, so I reccomend checking out my site for all my current content since I will be migrating over there in time!

In the meantime, Luca’s character intro is up and you can read it here! Enne’s is scheduled for this upcoming Friday. Even if you already are familiar with these characters, I wanted to share for any new followers, and also boosts would be appreciated so that they can reach new people :)

Also! If you’ve ever drawn art of my characters I’d like to feature it in a Gallery page on the website! First of all, Thank You, because it makes me smile every time I see them in my camera roll, but secondly, I want to ask first though, because it is your art, and I would credit you in the captions!
