Luca’s Laundry Day

The soft hum of the washing machine filled the apartment as Luca sorted through the pile of laundry on the floor. He was halfway through folding a stack of freshly dried clothes when his hands landed on one of Listener’s favorite shirts.

He smiled, holding it up to the light. It was a simple piece of clothing, nothing particularly fancy, but it carried so much of them in it—their energy, their presence, their warmth.

Without thinking, Luca brought the shirt closer and inhaled. The faint scent of their cologne or perfume lingered, mixed with the unmistakable softness that always made him feel like he was wrapped in a hug. It was comforting, grounding, and for a moment, he just stood there, eyes closed, holding the shirt like it was a precious memory he didn’t want to lose.

Mocha meowed softly from her spot by the couch, snapping Luca out of his trance.

"Okay, okay," he muttered with a shy laugh, his cheeks warming as if someone had caught him. "Maybe that’s a little weird, huh, Mocha?"

The kitten tilted her head as if judging him, but Luca shrugged it off, carefully folding the shirt and placing it neatly in the "done" pile.

As he continued folding, his mind wandered. He thought about how Listener always left little traces of themselves around the apartment—an unmatched sock under the bed, a mug half-full of coffee on the counter, the way their laugh still echoed in his ears even when they weren’t home.

By the time he finished, Luca found himself with another one of their sweaters in his hands. This time, he held it close, whispering, "I just really love you, you know?"

Mocha padded over, pawing at his leg.

"Yeah, I’m hopeless," he said with a small laugh, scratching behind her ears. "But it’s fine. It’s not like they’ll ever find out."

Just as he finished folding the last piece, the front door opened, and Listener stepped in, looking tired but happy to be home.

"Hey, babe," they greeted, setting their bag down.

Luca froze for a second, the sweater still clutched in his hands. He quickly shoved it into the pile and turned to face them, his face a little red.

"Hey," he said, trying to sound casual. "Laundry’s all done."

They raised an eyebrow, clearly noticing his flustered state. "You okay? You look... guilty."

"What? Guilty? No, not at all!" Luca stammered, but his wide-eyed expression gave him away.

Listener laughed, walking over to press a kiss to his cheek. "Whatever you were up to, I’m sure it was adorable. Thank you for doing the laundry."

As they walked away, Luca let out a quiet sigh of relief. Maybe he was a little hopeless, but when it came to them, he didn’t mind being caught every once in a while.

Friday Announcements

Happy Friday, my children! Mama Peppy is here to dish out the latest news.

This week has been… a lot, yet somehow not much at the same time. I spent time focusing on specific characters, and somehow Simon made it into the mix—which was a fun but unexpected twist!

On a brighter note, I’ve hit 51 followers on Tumblr! That’s an amazing milestone, and I can’t thank all of you enough for your support. You make all this worth it!

As for updates, all the stories I had queued are now uploaded, which feels great—but also a bit stressful. Knowing I have nothing prepped ahead feels like starting from square one again. On the plus side, I have the freedom to upload whenever inspiration strikes, without worrying about scheduling random times. But honestly, I like having things planned in advance; it just feels more organized.

Because of this, I’ve decided to take a short break from Tumblr—just one to two weeks—to reset and get back into my usual routine. With my queue empty and my creative energy running low, I think this time off will help me recharge. Don’t worry, though! I deeply appreciate all the requests you’ve sent in, While I deeply appreciate the requests you send in (seriously, I’m so thankful for them), many of them tend to follow similar plots or formats to stories I’ve already written. I still enjoy creating them because I love you guys. That said, I’m considering closing requests for the time being to focus on fresh ideas.

Now, about my own series, Sakuverse Reimagined Twist of Fate—I can’t help but feel it’s lost a bit of its hype and popularity 😅. It’s stressful reminding myself, “Oh crap, I still need to get this done.” So, until further notice, SRTOF is delayed.

As I mentioned last week, Asirel is still a work in progress. Developing his character has been a lot, especially since he’s more complex than just “owns a vampire and is kinky.” Turns out, there’s deeper lore for him that I’m still learning and piecing together.

For those waiting on NSFW stories, don’t worry—they’ll be completed later. One particular request—a Luca story—caught me off guard since most of my children are Isaac fans. I’ve started it but hit a bit of a roadblock with the plot, so it’s still in progress.

I’ve also got several unfinished or scrapped story ideas that I hope to revisit and complete during my break.

What does potentially closing requests mean?

Starting after Sunday, I won’t be keeping up with new requests. If you have anything you’d like to send in, please do so before then!

Daddy’s Little Princess

The sunlight streamed through the apartment’s wide windows, casting a warm glow over the living room. MC leaned against the kitchen doorway, coffee mug in hand(titled #1 Bread Winner), watching Luca kneeling on the floor, completely enraptured by Mocha.

Their cat sat perched on her favorite cushion, looking down at Luca with her usual mix of disdain and curiosity, her tail swishing lazily.

“Look at this, Mocha.” Luca held up a delicate pink collar with a shiny gold heart dangling from it. “Doesn’t this scream elegance? Like, ‘Yes, I run this household, and I’m stunning while I do it.’”

Mocha blinked at him, unimpressed.

“I know, I know,” Luca said dramatically, as if reading her mind. “You’re wondering why it’s not encrusted with diamonds. But give me time, Princess. This is just the start.”

MC snorted, trying to hold back laughter. “You do realize she’s a cat, right? She doesn’t care about collars or ‘elegance.’”

“Excuse you,” Luca replied, turning to MC with mock offense. “She’s not just a cat. She’s my cat. And as her dad, it’s my duty to make sure she’s treated like the royalty she is.”

Mocha let out a soft meow, as if agreeing with him, and stretched her paws lazily.

“See? She gets it,” Luca said triumphantly, carefully fastening the collar around Mocha’s neck. “Oh my God, look at her! She’s a vision.”

MC rolled their eyes but couldn’t help smiling as Luca reached for the next item in his bag of spoils: a tiny, plush crown.

“Luca, no,” MC said, already laughing.

“Luca, yes.” He grinned, gently placing the crown on Mocha’s head. The cat, to MC’s surprise, didn’t immediately swat it off but instead tilted her head slightly, as if testing her new look.

“Oh, she loves it,” Luca gushed. “Look at her! She knows she’s Daddy’s little princess.”

“She’s tolerating it because she’s plotting your demise,” MC pointed out, sipping their coffee.

“Don’t listen to the haters, Mocha,” Luca said, cradling her under her front legs and lifting her gently into the air. “You’re perfect just the way you are.”

Mocha gave a halfhearted chirp, her tail flicking, but Luca looked at her like she was the most precious creature in existence.

“Alright, that’s it,” MC said, setting their mug down and walking over. “You’re officially more whipped for her than you are for me.”

“That’s because she’s a queen, and you’re just my spouse,” Luca teased, shooting them a playful wink.

“Debatable,” MC said, though their fond tone betrayed them.

Luca set Mocha down on her cushion, where she immediately began cleaning her paw, clearly unbothered by the humans fussing over her. He sat back and sighed, watching her like a proud parent.

“Y’know,” he said softly, “I didn’t think it was possible to love a cat this much. But Mocha? She’s special.”

MC laughed, settling onto the couch beside him. “Well, at least one of us is getting spoiled.”

Luca leaned over, resting his head on their shoulder. “Don’t worry, you’re next. But for now...” He gestured toward Mocha, who was already dozing off, crown still slightly askew.

“She’s the real boss around here,” MC said, shaking their head.

“And don’t you forget it,” Luca replied with a grin, pulling them closer.

As they sat together, watching their little “princess” nap, MC couldn’t help but feel a warm glow of contentment. Sure, Luca was ridiculous, but they wouldn’t have it any other way.

Wisdom Tooth Woes

The car ride home after Luca’s wisdom tooth extraction was… an adventure, to say the least. MC sat in the driver’s seat, glancing every so often at their husband slouched in the passenger seat, his head lolling slightly with every bump in the road.

The gauze stuffed in his mouth made his cheeks puff out, and his usually sharp, calculating demeanor had been replaced with a dopey, glazed-over expression thanks to the lingering effects of the anesthesia.

“MC…” Luca slurred, his voice muffled by the gauze. “Where… where are we goin’?”

“We’re going home, Luca,” MC said, biting back a smile. “The doctor said you need to rest.”

“But I’m fine,” he insisted, his hand flopping dramatically onto his chest. “I’m a strong guy. You know, like… really strong. I could fight a bear right now if I had to.”

MC couldn’t help but laugh. “Sure, honey. But how about we stick to fighting your pillow for a nap instead?”

Luca frowned, his face scrunching up in a way that made him look even more ridiculous. “Noooo, pillows don’t fight back. That’s no fun.”

They pulled up to a red light, and MC turned to look at him fully. His eyes were half-closed, and he was staring at them with an intensity that didn’t quite match his drugged-up state.

“You’re so pretty,” he blurted out suddenly, his words slightly garbled but still clear enough to make MC’s cheeks warm.

“Luca, stop,” MC said, though they couldn’t help the smile tugging at their lips.

“No, really!” he insisted, his hands flailing a bit. “You’re, like… the prettiest. Prettier than…” He paused, his foggy brain clearly working overtime. “Prettier than a donut. And I love donuts.”

MC couldn’t hold back their laughter. “That’s high praise coming from you.”

The light turned green, and they started driving again, but Luca wasn’t done.

“You’re not just pretty,” he continued, his voice softening. “You’re, like… my whole world, you know?”

MC’s heart melted at his sincerity, even if it was mostly the meds talking. “I know, Luca.”

“No, but, like…” He reached out, his hand brushing against their arm. “You take care of me. And you’re always so nice. And you smell good. And your cooking? Amazing. I don’t deserve you.”

“Alright, alright,” MC said, their face warm with embarrassment now. “Let’s save the love confessions for when you’re not loopy.”

“But I mean it,” he said, his tone so serious that MC had to glance at him again. Despite the gauze and the droopy eyes, there was a spark of genuine affection in his gaze. “You’re my favorite person ever.”

MC bit their lip to keep from grinning too hard. “You’re my favorite person too, Luca. Now let’s get you home before you fall asleep in the car.”

When they finally pulled into the driveway, Luca made no move to get out of the car. Instead, he stared at the dashboard with a furrowed brow.

“What’s wrong?” MC asked, leaning over to unbuckle his seatbelt.

“I can’t feel my tongue,” he whispered, sounding horrified. “Do you think it ran away? What if it doesn’t come back?”

MC burst out laughing, shaking their head as they helped him out of the car. “Don’t worry, your tongue isn’t going anywhere. You’ll feel it again soon.”

Luca gave them a skeptical look but let them guide him inside, still muttering about ungrateful tongues and how he didn’t understand why his wanted to leave him.

By the time they got him settled on the couch with an ice pack and a cozy blanket, he was half-asleep, mumbling something about donuts and bears.

MC sat beside him, brushing a strand of hair out of his face as they watched him drift off. Even drugged up and ridiculous, Luca was still the sweetest, and they couldn’t help but feel lucky to have him—wisdom teeth and all.

Luca's hand, still resting on their lap, twitched slightly as if searching for something, and after a few moments, his eyes fluttered open again, though they were still heavy with drowsiness. His gaze softened when he saw them, a slow smile spreading across his face.

"Hey..." he mumbled, his voice thick with sleep. "You’re still here?"

"Of course I am," MC replied, gently squeezing his hand. "Where else would I be?"

Luca blinked a couple of times, as if trying to make sure this wasn’t just part of the medicine-induced haze. "I just... I don’t wanna... I don’t wanna ever be away from you," he slurred, his words barely coherent but full of sincerity. "You’re like... you’re like my favorite person... ever."

MC chuckled softly, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to his forehead. "You really know how to make me feel loved, even when you're high on pain meds."

Luca let out a soft giggle, but his smile faded just a bit, a shadow of concern creeping across his face. "I mean it though," he said quietly. "I love you. I don’t even know how I got so lucky to have you... you put up with me even when I’m all... messed up."

"You’re not messed up, Luca," MC reassured him, running their fingers through his hair again. "I love you, too. I’m just glad you’re okay."

Luca’s eyelids started to droop again, but he managed to look at them one more time with that same sleepy, affectionate gaze. "You’re so pretty... so... perfect."

MC smiled fondly, their heart swelling at the way he spoke, even in his loopy state. "You’re perfect to me, Luca."

Luca gave a little nod, his hand tightening around theirs for a brief moment before his body relaxed again. His breathing slowed, and before long, he was completely asleep, a peaceful expression on his face.

MC stayed there for a while, their hand still resting on his, watching him sleep soundly. They couldn’t help but feel a wave of love and gratitude wash over them. Sure, today had been a little chaotic, and Luca was definitely a bit of a handful while under the effects of the anesthesia, but moments like this—when he was vulnerable, yet still so open with his feelings—made everything worth it.
