HIIII FINN!!!! THANK U FOR ASKING TEEHEE!!! this is gonna be a LONG post i am so sorry

the oc i was talking about was noah!!! noah is one of the main characters in a little writing project i have that i call lucasworld (the tag is. either #lucasworld or #ocposting if u wanna scroll through my account)

the other main characters of lucasworld are: lucas (duh), lin, and odin

some side characters include: crya, finn (omg!!!), holly, madison, lucas' parents, uncle isaac, and lins mother

ive been working on a novel, called the middle of the road, that centres lin lucas and noah, but my main focus right now is the short film im making about lin and odin. its easier to do a lin and odin focused film bc i dont have to try and figure out how to do the supernatural ghost parts.

basic plot is like. lin and lucas start year 11 (aged 15/16. i think youre american but idk what grade that is sorry) and theyre having a Bad time. lucas is the worlds most insecure and anxious guy, and lin is getting bullied by this rando at his bus stop (the rando is odin). they get to form (is homeroom the term americans use?) and lucas discovers he is sat by a new kid. this is noah. noah and lucas embark on this cringe and awkward teen romance (to lins dismay. lucas isnt very nice to him during this period) while lucas is unaware that noah is a ghost. noah then tells lucas he is a ghost. this is a big deal. noahs whole thing is that he ended his own life a few months ago and as some sort of divine punishment he gets to live one year as a ghost before being taken back by the afterlife (feels weird making God canon) forever. this is what lucas and noahs story centres. lins story centres his struggles with living with an abusive parent, and his friendship with lucas and how that gets strained due to the stress of their exams, the fact noah is a fucking ghost, and lucas refusing to try and improve his mental health problems. lin is also in the midst of a psychosexual situationship with a guy who keeps hatecriming him.

odin is a main character, with his own pov, but he doesnt really interact with any of the main plot. hes there, having his own problems, and being weird about lin. odin is transgender (like everyone in this story), but hes stealth, and bullying lin for being trans. their story is about how odin learns to be a better person, accept himself for himself, and makes amends with lin. they end up kissing on the mouth bc theyre both freaks who were lowkey into the whole hatecriming thing. my short film (called ruined enough) about them is currently in the pre production phase and i am VERY excited to make it :)

all is a bit of a stretch because theres a LOT. i have favourites though/main characters im a huge fan of. im in my odin era at the moment because he is absolutely everything to me.

i have three WIP projects, Lucasworld (real title Middle Of The Road), Death Is A Tube Station, and IF (pronounced Eye-Eff). i mostly work on lucasworld, which you'll see me post about a lot !!!

lucasworld features: lucas (obviously), noah, lin, odin, madison, and a few other people who are sadly too minor to mention right now.

death is a tube station features: tommy, wren, rufus, and jamie. its fairly new so theres not many developed characters there :(

IF features: chuck, adrian, keycode, rai, charlie, ryo, jared, dan, tracy, nova, peaches, eli, helix, etc etc etc.... its my largest project, i've been working on it since i was around 9, and theres so many characters and far too much lore. theres like three seperate eras of it with different storylines. most of the characters die (bc the theme is mortality)

theres a whole lot more im really not sure how to like... summarise it all. oh god why is there so much why are there so many little guys rotating in my mind. feel free to ask more clarifying questions if you have any!!!!!

lucas: he has a polaroid camera that he really loves. that or noah gives him a silly gift, like a little figure of a character he likes, and then after noah Ascends he sort of becomes really really attached to it

noah: well. hm. the thing is he doesnt become too attached to material possessions because he's dead or whatever but he has a necklace he found/was given once when he was 11, a silly little plastic chain with a crappy heart locket, and he hasn't taken it off since

lin: he has a really specific set of dice that he really likes. and a specific pokemon card. he's a huge fan of his dice tbh. carries them (and the pokemon card) everywhere

odin: youd assume itd be one of his planes but his dirty ass leather jacket means so so much to him. i like to think he found it in the shed when he first discovered it

madison: this one really stumped me tbh!!!! i think probably something her dad got her, a book of some sort. it has a little message from him in it. i haven't figured out which book yet but ill let you know if that changes

Noah: stick season by noah kahan or this is how the world ends by badflower. i realised badflower is a band that exists and i think noah would be a fan :)

Odin: ok computer by radiohead because its the only album he has ever listened to because he is insane

Madison: sick scenes by los campesinos i think? her music taste escapes me. perhaps her favourite album is the queen is dead by the smiths

lucas: this one's tricky.... i guess the codependency between him and lin is kinda similar to sam and dean. not as bad but he does do awful awful things bc he thinks itll help lin . lowkey in a way thats more reminiscent to john winchester than Sam but sams similar to john anyway...

lin: he had a magic phase aged 13 . just like sammy :)) uhh. i guess all the women in his life are either dead or hate him thats similar to sam i guess ?

odin: eating disorder <3

noah: uhhh. dead ??? i mean i guess sam gets brought back to life. but. they've both died. i guess noah has also been brought back to life. but like, less permanently

madison: hmmm. shes a nerd to a similar level as sam i guess. big fan of sitting at her laptop and sayng "hey, check this out". hmmmm. i think she also puts a lot of pressure on herself to be seen as "good" and "pure"

more oc questions! about madison and odin this time. how does their dynamic work and how did they become friends?

These guys are my absolute favourite to talk about thank you so much for asking!

Odin's dad is the chairman of the council, and Madison's dad is the mayor. They meet at a New Years event in ch18. Madison is very straight foward and outgoing, whereas Odin has this absolute massive dislike of being friendly, so he finds the whole interaction strange and uncomfortable. Madison is absolutely Fascinated by him (she really likes psychology, and Odin has the type of psychological problems that she finds really interesting) and attaches to him immediately. Odin has never felt human connect before, and ends up really appreciating it (reluctantly).

They're both insanely rich (Madion's grandad is a duke and Odin's uncle owns a huge oil/gas company) and a lot of their dynamic is them bullying each other for being posh. Odin is finally letting himself be vulnerable in front of someone, and Madison is finally experiencing what it's like to have an actual friend who she talks to outside of her horse riding lessons and English class.

Madison makes Odin reflect on himself and actually Think for pretty much the first time in his life, which he finds uncomfortable and struggles to adjust to. Madison loves watching his reactions to things, and finds his relationship with Lin to be incredibly interesting. To her, Odin is almost like a science experiment.

They both benefit massively from the actual human connection that they give each other. They are the best of friends. They both have insane autism swag, which prompts one of my favourite interactions they ever have, where Madison says he isn't normal (implying he's either autistic or gay, due to the context of the comment) and he looks at her and starts yelling about how normal he is. And then five minutes later he starts telling her about the growth patterns of the local trees.

Essentially they trauma bond and are pretty much inseperable from the moment they meet. To Odin's dismay. They're literally BFFs i love them so much :)
