“Please, don’t leave,” the old scarred Asura spoke, hiding a twinge of desperation in her voice, "If you don't mind my unsightly appearance, I'd appreciate your company just a minute longer." – yimyeta

"...Oh?"

Lucca shifted her Vigil-issued hammer from her shoulder to the ground, leaning on it slightly as she turned to face Yimyeta, sitting on a field hospital cot. She smiled gently and paused for a moment at the elder Asura's request, and motioned for the rest of her warband to head out without her.

"Why, of course. Is there something on your mind?"

Lucca took a seat next to Yimyeta, taking hold of one of her arms as gingerly as she could manage, checking the older Asura's bandages. She clucked her tongue at the messy bandaging job the previous mender had done, and rummaged in her pack for some fresh, clean wound dressings.

"Besides, looks like whoever was treating you earlier was a greenhorn. What a mess. The bandages on your leg over there looks like it's cutting off your circulation, and the ones on your shoulder are dangling like grapes on a vine. I'm going to fix that up for you, so I won't be going anywhere anytime soon..." Lucca rambled on, as she went about tending to Yimyeta's injuries.

"Move, move! Emergency responder comin' through!" Piritta bellowed, pushing aside both nosy Pact fighters and encroaching Mordem with one of her arms, clearing a path for Lucca.

The heavy-set guardian charged forward towards Yimyeta with a stack of med packs in her arms. She immediately dropped to her knees, quickly assessing the injured Asura's wounds and gave her fellow warband sister a quick, appreciative nod before yanking out bottles of potent antiseptic and rolls of bandages from the bags she was carrying. Such stubborn ferocity for someone her age! She ought to be a tactician behind the front lines, not getting mangled like this out on the battlefield!

"You doin' okay, hun'?" Lucca asked, "I'm no doctor, but I'll get you all patched up and out to a proper field hospital right away. My ears, you've got so many scars! I take it you're Vigil, too?"

Lucca (Ragehammer), guardian.

Lucca’s personality is best described as contradictory.  On one hand, she is notably bold, even fearless.  She is not subtle in expressing her emotions – if she’s in a good mood, everyone around will know without a doubt.  If she’s in a bad mood, that’s crystal clear as well.  As boisterous, rowdy, and enthusiastic Lucca comes off as most of the time, she also shows a gentler, protective, even motherly side in certain situations, despite never having a romantic relationship, let alone children.

"What sort of monster does this to a person?" Sanf said with a sad look. – sanf-mending-deactivated2015012

Lucca pressed her hands on her hips, puffing her chest out at the fellow Vigil healer.

"Anything corrupted by an Elder Dragon is bound to mess a person up like this. Icebrood, Branded, Mordem...I've seen it all, and it ain't pretty. Prize for 'nastiest corrupted dragon minion' goes to Zhaitan, though. Even if they're equally as dangerous, Icebrood and Branded are at least prettier to look at. They're not wandering around with their skin rotted and falling off everywhere. Ick."

The chubby guardian knelt and laid a finger across the unconscious Norn's neck. Sensing a faint pulse, she jumped up excitedly, gesturing at Sanf to come see the injured crusader for herself.

"Hoo! We've got a live one over here! He's just barely hanging on, but I'm sure he'll recover fully once we get him back to a field hospital nearby. Quick, bring me the stretcher and some bandages! Let's patch him up and get going, there are more brave soldiers to be saved out there..."

Ah, this is a fine time to introduce yet another character – Lucca (Ragehammer), guardian.
