jiho finds @lucedx on the hunt for blood...in a dumpster?
jiho may be a licensed practical nurse now, but he still often gets stuck doing the tedious tasks no one else at the hospital wants to do. it's probably just habit from his cna days, where he sometimes felt more like the intern for the doctors and other nurses than a nurse himself.
he doesn't mind it, though. he does the tedious tasks and he gets to sing to the babies and anxious patients. it's fun when he can gets a child who came in for a vaccine to sing along with him despite how little they want to be there. it's a pretty good gig, ultimately.
but sometimes it means taking the trash out, and sacred heart has a lot of trash. it's not like the trash cans are all overflowing, but there are just so damn many trash cans in the hospital that it adds up.
he heaves the first round of trash up, ready to toss it into the dumpster in the alley behind the hospital, but he realizes he isn't alone. no – there is in fact someone digging through the dumpster. he pauses, narrows his eyes in confusion, then says, "can i help you?" more sarcastic than polite for a first meeting with someone. then again, it's not very polite to dig through someone's trash either, is it?
