i've got an evil idea about my beloved kurtluchi. as much as i love them idk i find this unhappy ending appealing ⬇️⬇️

Kurt goes to visit Luchino like he often does at night, because the professor's reputation is important and being seen with the man so often would surely spark rumors. And while they kiss by the door the way they always do Kurt finds that Luchino's teeth are longer, sharper than before. And when he pulls back in confusion perhaps he notices the scales, too.

Luchino knows he can't hide it any more at this point, not from Kurt, maybe not from everyone else, either. He admits that he hasn't always been entirely honest about what his research entailed. Kurt gets pulled out of his La-La Land for a moment by the absurdity of it all, he argues that this is reckless, that letting things get to this point was dangerous. The bickering continues until Luchino says something hurtful, maybe he suggests that him seeing Kurt was a mistake.

He leaves, obviously heartbroken, and Luchino doesn't hear from him again. Everything goes down at the university maybe a few days later. We know where Kurt ends up (cough.. asylum.. cough..)

Do they see each other again after this? Probably not. But I don't think they'd forget about each other. They probably die at the manor wondering what happened.
