The Second Home Serpentine Pavilion, designed by Spanish architects Lucia Cano and Jose Selgas of SelgasCano, is a bright and colorful addition to the park that houses the La Brea Tarpits and LACMA.

The installation will be up and accessible to the public until 11/24/19 (although tickets are available for Monday 11/25 and Friday 11/29). Get free tickets here.

If you ever wondered how it must feel for hobbits to work in the middle of the forest then the office of Spanish architects Jose Selgas and Lucia Cano might be the right place to apply for a job. Located close to Madrid, they designed this extraordinary workingplace and created a whole new experience of everyday life.

Il progetto "Selgascano Office" degli architetti spagnoli José Selgas e Lucia Cano, evidenzia quanto l'ambiente che ci circonda, sia esso naturale o artificiale, influisce sul nostro stato d'animo e sulla nostra persona.

Dovendo realizzare un ufficio ecologico che minimizzi i livelli di stress, i due architetti hanno pensato ad un open-space a contatto con le forme rilassanti che la natura spontaneamente offre. Luce naturale, profumo di verde e sole che ci riscalda dolcemente: tutti elementi che migliorano qualitativamente la nostra vita e il nostro modo di concepire il nostro impiego.

E per le nostre case e i nostri arredi, non dovrebbe valere la stessa regola?
