Starstruck || LuciferxReader
Description: You are a demon, somewhat of a lost cause now that Lucifer has left hell. It’s in shambles, so you finally decided to head up top to say Hello. To an old friend and the one and only devil
“Cmon, C.mon…” You sat at the bar, spinning around impatiently on the stool, your eyes darted around the dancefloor along with everywhere else. You huffed before you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turned to your right, finding a familiar face to be standing behind the bar, giving you a small smirk,”Maze?” You shouldn’t have been surprised, the demon across from you was always by Lucifer’s side.
“(Y/m).” She replied lazily, as if she had expected you. She lean forward, resting her arms on the counter,”You surprised?” She asked with her usual cocky tone. You remembered the other Demon all to well. You were always wanted to be like her...the best at what you did,,,but you weren’t.
“Not really. I had a feeling you’d be lurking. What’s a king without his fool?” You replied with a smirk. She scoffed and bit her lip.”Just like I remembered you, huh? Still got a trashy mouth.” Your jaw dropped a bit, “Me? Oh please, Maze, you know that’s more your style.” She rolled her eyes, but gave a slight nod.
“You here for the big guy I’m assuming?” She asked, nodding up to the top of the stairs. You looked in that direction and put a hand to your chest, swooning. Tall dark and handsome just as you remembered. Astonishingly gorgeous,
“You assume correctly.” You let out a long sigh, smiling as you relaxed your shoulders.”You’re just like the rest, it’s almost sad to see.” You turned back,”Listen, maybe I’d get sick of him if I was his foot stool, but I’m not.”
“Oh man, I really didn’t miss you.” She spoke through her teeth before you blew her a kiss, “Love you sis.” You stippled of your stool, planning on heading over to see him, but it took you a moment before you finally took your first step, squeezing through the crowd of people.
Your heels didn’t make it easy to stay standing as you were constantly bumped into. This place was booming with people. Once you reached the staircase, you hurried up them, straightening your sleek black dress before approaching.
“Funny seeing you here.” You stood next to him, waiting for him to reply as he looked over the railing,”Really? Is it funny?” He turned to you, his accent just making you melt. You missed the sound of his voice oh so much. A familiar smile appeared on his face,”(Y/n). I knew I recognized that voice. You were so giddy you almost couldn’t reply.
“You remember me by my voice?” You were surprised. You moved up next to him, placing your hands on the railing as he did,”Now how could I forget the voice of the almighty (y/n)?” His dark eyes met your as he looked down at you. You felt starstruck.
“Oh stop that.” You blushed. You were glad he gave your credit for your work. You nudged his bicep with your elbow,”It’s good to see you...Lucifer.” You smile became shy.
“And you.” He nodded his head down. He turned his head back to the crowd then,”What brings you here then?”Money? Sex?Both?” You could only laugh, you brought a hand up to cover your mouth.
“Oh please, is that what you think of me?” You leaned your head forward so that he would spot you looking at him, “I came here for you.” You said as if he should have known. He returned his attention to you then. His smile turned into a grin.
“I never would have guessed that.” He placed a hand on yours, rubbing your knuckles with his thumb. Your heart skipped a beat, smile fading out of surprise before you replied.
“You’re such a liar.” You squinted your eyes at him, “But that is what you do, isn’t it? Hm?” You tilted your head.
“No. No, I don’t do that anymore.” You lifted your brows and gave him a curious look,”Is the devil loosing his touch? Or is this the new you?” You wondered.
“Nope.” He sighed, “Still the same old Lucifer. Maybe even new and improved.” His eyes were a bit wild, though that was natural for him. He was in a good mood, it made you happy.
“This is were I belong.” He told you, scanning the whole room as he did,”I thrive off of all these things. All that I have.” His bright smile only made you all the more glad you decided to visit.
When Lucifer finally turned towards you, he pulled you close, taking your hand in his. Again, you were surprised. After all this time he was still so friendly towards you. His free arm wrapped around your waist as if you were about to dance.
“I’d love to catch up.” His tone changed into a sultry one, “In the penthouse.” He captured you with his gaze. There was no escaping his captivating look.
“I’m sure you’ve got lots to say.” Your knees threatened to buckle, as confident as you usually were, you were vulnerable in his grasp.
“Oh, you won’t be able to keep up.”
