Okay so when you do this: Hawke/Fenris - and for keywords - fairy lights, creepy/folk lore, jackets (is this alright?)
This is fine!
Hawke has been out partying with his friends at a beach party. The festivities extend into the night and when the moon is high up in the sky, Hawke, seriously drunk, decides to wonder away from his friends. He travels down a seemingly abandoned path to what looks like an private beach where there are lanterns and fairy lights, and a single man seems to be enjoying his solitude in a cozy looking gazebo.
Hawke goes up to the man, in his drunk state, because boy, this guy is his type.
The man, who introduces himself as Fenris after much cajoling, is surprised that Hawke has managed to find this place- not many people know where the beach is, he explains. Hawke asks Fenris what he’s doing all by himself at night, and Fenris tells him that he’s waiting for his sister. Hawke enjoys Fenris’s company very much and manages to get his phone number, which Fenris give to him on a scrap of receipt.
Eventually, Hawke ends up falling asleep on the beach but when he wakes up, he doesn’t see any of them pretty lanterns and lights that was hung on the gazebo- when he looks around, he realizes that the gazebo looks different from the scene last night. The wood is rotted away and the structure is half-destroyed. There is maybe a stray wire that may have been a string light but it’s rusted and looks decades old. The only thing different is that there is a jacket next to him, the one that Fenris was wearing.
When Hawke gets back to his friends (who were also passed out from night’s partying), Hawke fishes out the receipt that he got from Fenris and realizes that it’s yellowing and faded. The numbers are faded, but still legible.
Hawke borrows his friend’s phone and call it. An old woman picks it up and Hawke asks for Fenris, saying that he left his jacket behind. But the old woman tells Hawke that her brother has been missing for nearly forty years. Hawke, confused, tells her that he’s just spoken with Fenris just last night, and that he still has his jacket.
Hawke ends up meeting Varania later, with Fenris’s jacket and Varania recognizes her brother’s favorite jacket, and shows Hawke some old missing person posters that lists that exact jacket as ‘last seen wearing’. Hawke shows Varania exactly where he saw Fenris and that’s how Varania finally finds her brother’s body, still waiting for her, after all those years

Idk what happened but i 100% agree. You paid for a show and thats exactly what you should get period
okay so tonight was opening for one of the shows I’m doing this summer, and I came late, I only had two days of rehearsal before we opened tonight, but I’m giving it my all. And this one person looked out at the audience (we’re at an outdoor theatre which is hard to find, plus it’s humid as balls rn, no one wants to be out here) and said “there’s only ten people in the audience, you don’t perform for less people than are in the cast” and she’s one of the leads????? and I just stood there, amazed at that because how dare you, this theatre is forty minutes away from the nearest town of size, closer to two hours if you actually come from a place where you like theatre, it’s humid, and the place isn’t advertised at all, and you just decide that those ten people aren’t worth it???
Tickets don’t get refunded, period. Not if the show is rained out, not if there’s severe weather, not a damn reason. Tickets are also around $30 a pop, no exceptions. So people are coming from forever away, paying an absurd amount of money, have no protection from the elements, and probably can’t hear shit from the show since no one projects and we can’t afford sound, and you just decided they don’t get a show?? I don’t care if the only person who came is Putin himself, you put on your costume and you give him the best damn performance of your life because you owe him that much. I don’t care if it’s the person who used to bully you in second grade, they paid for the show, they get the show.
And the cast??? just accepted this??? people were really going to skip because there wasn’t a big audience??? and that’s just not how theatre works. It isn’t for the elite, it’s for everyone, and you don’t give a damn about the world of theatre if you think that an audience of one is not your worth your time.

I am really really sorry to hear that
I appreciate that. Everything’s been really tough lately and this has been a big blow, especially as drawn out as it is. I hate seeing her like this. She’s only just reached the lowest end of the life expectancy for indoor cats (her mother and brothers didn’t even make it that far). Simone, our Siamese, is seventeen and probably the most robust cat in the house. It’s just something about the genetics in her family, particularly her mother’s side, I guess. It’s heartbreaking. I just hope her father’s going to be able to handle her being gone, Stanley’s always been almost inseparable from her.

Fucking hell, yeah. This is terrifying. D:
To reply, oh god no, I love lucifer but not that much, that post is extremely old. Im sick of it showing up in my feed, so if you see it on your dash without the commentary I just added im sorry.
that’s okay i completely understand. i actually think it’s a shame lucifer went that way in S11 and tbh to me he has lost most of his appeal, though i might be looking at this through rose-coloured glasses because he’s actively opposing crowley, etc. and i am unapologetic crowley trash. :)
I love when I take a dumb quiz like “who’s your guardian angel” and I end up getting Lucifer, because that’s totally fair
2, 5, 10, and 32? ^^
2. Favourite genre of fic?
I love AUs mostly. Is that a genre? I don’t know. XD
5. Favourite fic author?
You’re definitely one of them, sweetie. XD
10. Favourite trope/element/scenario in fic?
oh gosh, so I like lots of things, um, but I do love fic where one half of my ship is hurt or sick and the other has to care for them. I love those sort of interactions.
32. Favourite AU tropes?
Ah, yes AUs. My favourite. XD I love historic AUs and AUs where one half of the ship is some sort of other worldly being/creature. Yes cause I am weird like that. XD Fantasy AUs are awesome too. :3
Send me a number from here peeps!
