There’s enough of an age difference between my sister and I where I’m in college and she still needs babysitting. This results in the wonderful situation that is me getting paid just to hang out with my sister over the summer. We play so much uno lol

My goal this summer is to try and get her into the httyd shows. At least Race to the Edge if I can. She likes the movies— she had me do a bleach design of Toothless on her hoodie, she and I saw the live action in theaters when it came out, I think I saw her making a Pinterest board for httyd stuff. She’s definitely my sister lol

Kid at work is turning 4 today so now I get to tell the parents daily that developmentally he’s gonna start lying and making up false stories and claims. Not bc he’s trying to be sneaky or get away with something but bc he’s story telling. He does not know the difference between the story in a book and a real event. He wants to be included in telling about his day like the adults do. Yes all of it is made up. No he does not recognize that. I get to remind the parents that “punishing” for “lying” is telling him to no longer be creative. To no longer share his thoughts with them before he’s even old enough to recognize that’s what he’s doing
