It had been her mission after being shown where she would be kept to find those she cared for, making sure that they arrived to the new island just as safely as she had. She didn’t really care who she found first, and since she didn’t know the island well (like everyone else), she hadn’t expected much. When she found Lucille, she let out a relieved breath and went up to her friend, smiling at her as she moved her hair out of her face. “Blood hell, I am so glad to see you,” she said, licking her lips. “I’ve been trying to find at least one friendly face.”

“You know, I find you very attractive.” Lucille said with a sleepy laugh as she ran her fingers up and down Daryl’s tone arm. “I mean, your arms. God damn. And your hands?” she said with a smirk, her fingers trailing down his arm and to his hand, curling her fingers around his. “I’d love to see them around my neck while you fuck my brains out.”

Daryl smirked, the hair on the back of his neck standing up as Lucille spoke and caressed his arm. “Is that so?” He teased at her sleepy demeanor, wondering how lucid she even was, if she realized what she was saying to him.

He wanted to take the bate, be as witty as she was and respond nonchalantly, but he couldn’t find the right words for a woman like her. He was treading dangerous water with Lucille, if he made the wrong move- he didn’t want to be on her bad side, and he definitely liked being on her good side. He admired her, respected her more than Negan, frankly, and he’d be lying if he said he hadn’t thought about it during his stay here.
