Thoughts on seeing ALBW Zelda in Super Smash Bros Ultimate?
“What is this? Some kind of code?”
“Zelda what’s this letter mean? It’s got your name on it for some reason.”

Time sighed in contentment. Ganondorf had been defeated, for good it appeared, and Hyrule was safe once more. His descendant was thankfully in one piece, and was preparing to journey around Hyrule to check on the various people he had met and helped along the way. Soon he and the princess would escort Midna, his companion, back to the Mirror of Twilight for her own departure. It had taken a few hundred years, but he finally felt like his purpose had been fulfilled.
As he mused on this feeling, his frightening shade form dissolved, leaving behind a younger body, his appearance the same as when he had been called the Hero of Time. The old Hero glanced down at his hands in wonder, turning them over as a tired sort of smile crossed his face. Finally, he could move on.
...or so he thought. With each passing minute, it became more and more apparent that there was still something tethering him to the mortal plane. Link frowned and looked around for the Goddess of Death, or perhaps one of the snakes that aided her, but to no avail. Why was he still here? Link started panicking, was he stuck here for eternity? That hadn’t been the plan, what was going on?!?
His panic was suddenly halted when he heard singing in the distance. It sounded strange, sad and ethereal, with a haunting echoing quality to it. Link felt inexplicably drawn to the sound, and started running in the direction it was coming from.

Once they had all the food they needed, she too thanked the chef before they quietly took their leave. She still somewhat wondered how Link was able to fit so many things in such a small pouch, but decided to shrug it off as it perhaps being blessed with magic to carry an infinite number of items.
They were easily able to sneak past the council members, since they had already done so many times before and breathed a small sigh of relief. “I suppose so.” she spoke softly. “It’s not all that challenging anymore, since we have had lots of experience sneaking away in the past.” she stated, walking in step with the young hero as her lips formed a small smile.
“ I don’t know if that is a bad or good thing since we are talking about how easy it was for us to evade castle security. I mean if we can go out so easily, who knows what could enter with the same level of ease.” Link commented absentmindedly as he and the princess walked towards the flower field. “But right now its not the time to worry about that, we are here to have fun after all.” He added as he grabbed the Princess’s hand as they continued their journey.
“This is the best meal I’ve ever had!” she exclaimed, stuffing her mouth full before eventually swallowing a few moments later. "And that's saying something considering this is the first proper meal I've had in 100 years-" she stated, beginning to shovel more food into her mouth with her eating utensils(from the cooking prompt thing, Zelda is too hungry atm to remember all of her table manners lol)
“I’m glad you think so. And careful; I don’t want you to choke now.” The hero chuckled, watching as the Princess ate the food he prepared for her. After the defeat of Calamity Ganon and things had settled down some, Link decided to take Zelda to his house in Hateno Village. Sure it wasn’t much, but it was a decent place for her to stay and relax for awhile.
He immedietly gotten to work to prepare a meal for her, but that ended up turning into a feast since they were both starving! Thank the Goddesses he had enough food to make all this!
“There’s pain in my chest every time I see you in anguish."
Villain or Hero Edition:
Link looked up at Hylia surprised, he hadn’t heard her arrive. A small smile was given to the goddess, as he placed a hand on her cheek. “Don’t worry about me, I’m fine just a bit tired.” Having been left alone for awhile, he had lost himself to his thoughts. Thoughts of the war, of the ones he had lost, the ones he had failed to save, the ones he had saved. A swirl of thoughts which only led him to think of regrets, and other things he tried to hide from the goddess, all so she wouldn’t worry over him. Seems she had caught him this time though.

“Eh? Really? You mean... As in all their toys are gone? And their beds and clothes? Did you check the closet? I know those two doodled on the walls there.”
Link turned back to face Zelda, a look of worry in his face.
“This is a really strange day... Where do you think the kids went? And what could have gotten into everyone? You know I saw some of our friends and they looked at me like I was a stranger, too. You’re honestly the only one who didn’t act like I was a crazy man.”
"Glad to see I'm not the only one receiving strange looks today." she stated, crossing her arms as her lips formed a small smile.
“Zelda! What are you doing all the way out here?”
And with that, the elder hero clung to the queen, holding er in a big bear hug as he spun her around. Albie planted a kiss on her lips as he wrapped his arms around her waist.
“How’s the little guy treating you? You don’t feel lightheaded anymore, right?”
