- I highly, *highly* doubt kunikida would ever get drunk on his own
- the only way I could see him drink is if dazai forced him to, or if it was a social event and he only had one glass
- due to never drinking, he's a lightweight
- so even two glasses of wine could mess him up
- I imagine he's the overly affectionate type,,, like he gets all touchy and feely when drunk and it's *really strange* to see bc he's usually so stoic
- unfortunately for him he has a great memory so he ends up remembering everything
- embarrassing™
- don't get me wrong, he wouldn't be a crying mess like dazai or atsushi; he would still be serious but his words would be just so *warm* and he would genuinely be expressing his emotions truthfully
- it's enough to make a grown man cry/ref
- also, it would be worth noting he doesn't get drunk with people he doesn't trust, so you should be flattered
- would likely spill some of his insecurities..how he feels like he isn't good enough despite how hard he tries
- he would still be sober enough to go home on his own!
- now if the roles were REVERSED
- If he found u drunk he wouldn't be merciful when it came to scolding you
- "WHY HAVE YOU BEEN DRINKING?? WE HAVE STUFF TO DO! DON'T YOU KNOW IT'S BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH!?!"
- and a whooole lot more where that came from
- he, however, wouldn't mind being your venting buddy or your comfort pillow, although I can't guarantee him being good at any of it
- if you start sobbing into his shoulder he'll just,, stand there like 🕴
- maybe an awkward pat on the back and a few there there's
- he'll escort you home and keep a close eye on you from now on; he DOESN'T want this to happen again
