langdon laughed a little, still a little in awe that he was treating the billy dunne. there was one point where if you lived in pittsburgh you knew about daisy jones and the six. of course the interns and medical students didn't know who billy was, but langdon had noticed a star struck look on robby's face upon seeing the former rock star. "what would the pop scene do without you?" langdon asked. he focused on a few more stitches on billy's arm before looking back at billy. "i'm guessing this isn't the worst injury you've faced."

Buck knew that by this point Eddie was used to the things he would ask. It was one of the perks of their friendship, he knew he could ask obscure things and Eddie would only slightly judge him for it. Still, he was practically bouncing as he looked at the crowd around them. He was halfway behind Eddie before answering his question. "There's a girl over there that may have been catfished by some guy using my picture. It was years ago but last time she saw me she wasn't exactly thrilled and I don't exactly feel like being slapped again in case she isn't over it."

being  in  front  of  a  camera  was  second  nature.      the  moment  his  album  gained  traction,    the  blinding  flashes  became  a  nuisance.          ( louis  though,    you  would  never  deny  him.      you  would  pose  for  his  photographs  until  the  sun  cut  your  time  short )          the  return  of  his  fledgling’s  hobby  was  comforting.      no  longer  living  in  the  shadow  of  himself.      lestat's  gaze  lingered  on  him,    one  corner  of  his  mouth  curling  into  a  half-smirk.      he  leaned  back  slightly,    his  posture  relaxed,    but  his  eyes  carried  the  weight  of  centuries.          ❝ oh,    mon  cher, ❞          he  began,    his  voice  velvety  with  all  encompassing  emotion.      the  decades  without  him  left  his  nonchalance  lacking.      he  couldn’t  brush  anything  away;    he  handled  his  feelings  by  feeling  them.      deeply.      dramatically.

she's feeling light as a feather. carefree, in the company of her favorite front man, swaying & spinning to a tune she'd never voluntarily listen to. there must be something in the air. summer in california is unlike anything a london girl could imagine. & while she'd already experienced it a couple of times before the dunne brothers came into her life, this one feels especially sweet. her career is taking off. she's surrounded by people she cares for deeply. & she's having the time of her life in the city of angels. it's what dreams are made of. the ones she dares to dream, at least. there are others, buried in a shallow grave, but buried, nonetheless. she'd like them to stay that way. & so, she'd be quite clever not to indulge her dance partner. " the keyboardist warns, though she still finds herself welcoming the sudden closeness with a subtle grin. her current arrangement might have no strings, it's true, but she couldn't possibly tune out her conscience as it attempts to talk her off a dangerous ledge.
